The Alzheimer & Parkinson Association of Indian River County is excited to present a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: being interviewed (and videotaped!) by renowned journalist and author, Jane Pauley.

Pauley is the keynote speaker at the nonprofit’s sold out annual Successful Aging Luncheon on April 9th. The luncheon includes special auction items as part of the fundraising effort, and Pauley has graciously offered her time to provide such a unique auction item to the cause.

During this engaging and thought-provoking conversation, Pauley will explore your unique philosophy on life. It’s an opportunity to share your perspectives, values, and experiences in a meaningful dialogue, guided by insightful questions from one of the most respected voices in the field. Whether discussing your personal journey, lessons learned, or visions for the future, this recorded video interview will offer a chance to reflect, inspire, and connect. After the interview, you will receive a personal, private video copy to keep—a unique keepsake that is yours alone to share.

“What an opportunity for someone to be able to express their personal story and philosophy in an intimate and memorable setting. And with it being videotaped, it becomes a lasting legacy for family members for generations to come,” said Peggy Cunningham, Executive Director of the Alzheimer & Parkinson Association. “We are so grateful to Ms. Pauley for graciously offering her time, and expertise, to us in this way.”

The auction is available online at www.alzpark.org/auction/ and the starting bid is $2500. Auction will close at 8:00 am on April 4th, and the actual interview will be conducted on April 8th.  Location and logistics will be disclosed to the winner on April 4th. Proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer & Parkinson Association, helping fund their programs and services, all of which are offered free of charge to those coping with memory and movement disorders.
