The galleries, grounds, and especially the art studios at the Vero Beach Museum of Art will be abuzz on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Museum’s Children’s Art Festival. The free, annual celebration of the arts and art-making attracts thousands of attendees yearly. It features art instruction in the studios, music and dance performances, food trucks, art hunts, and docent-led tours of the galleries.

The Vero Beach Museum of Art is located at 3001 Riverside Park Drive in Vero Beach, Florida.

In the Studios:

• Easy Easel Painting—Use acrylics, canvases, and easels to create a masterpiece
• Botanical Banners—Layer and blend colorful tissue paper to create a beautiful, garden-themed banner
• Sail Away with Clay—Sculpt a miniature sailboat using air-dry clay
• Colorful Cut-out Creations—Explore bold shapes and bright colors todesign a cut-paper composition.

In the Atrium:

• Collective Monet Mural—Design an image using colored pencils and chalk pastels to add to a collective image
• School District of Indian River County Student Art Exhibit

Holmes Great Hall:

• Performances by the Music Angels Fund and Vero Classical School

Eggert Gallery:

• North County Charter Elementary Student Exhibition

Art Zone:

• Go hands-on with toys and games that inspire creativity, spark curiosity, and support learning

Throughout the Museum:

• Art Hunt—Get your “art hunt” from one of our friendly docents in the galleries. Return to the Visitor Services desk for a prize.
• Free Admission to the Exhibitions

Outside the Main Entrance:

• Live Art Student Demonstrations with students from Vero Classical School
• Food Truck—Purchase a snack from Kona Ice or Saussie Pig
• Take a stroll through the Sculpture Park
