The Comedy Zone and Live and Loop return to Riverside Theatre with performances Friday and Saturday evenings for comedy and Thursday through Saturday for musical groups. 

THE COMEDY ZONE

Starting on April 25 & 26, The Comedy Zone will continue to bring the funniest professional comedians to the Waxlax Stage for uproarious evenings of fun. Shows are every Friday and Saturday evening with performances at 6:30pm and 8:30pm each day.

Scheduled comedians for April are:

April 25 & 26 Nathan Wallace & Nadeem Awad

Nathan comes fully armed with a wide smile and a wealth of material. Nathan interacts with the audience, shares off-the-cuff insights and welcomes everyone into his world with plenty of honest energy.

 Nadeem is a South Florida native who was a two-time finalist in “Florida’s Funniest” Contest!

Scheduled comedians for May are:

May 2 & 3 Rob Steen & Chris Robinson

Rob is very high energy and brings the whole audience together as a group with his unique style and crowd participation.

Chris’ unique perspective and understanding makes both sides of every story a hilarious one.   

May 9 & 10 Dean Napolitano & Joe Latham

Dean is a throwback to the great comedians of yesteryear but with a modern twist.

Joe’s style is shaped from working at the BBC and MTV, developing comedy scripts, and full seasons of funny TV shows in Europe.  

May 23 & 24 Tim Boyd & Kate Brindle

Tim Boyd is a born storyteller, known for his talents as a comedian, fundraiser, and former pastor. His journey into the world of comedy has been influenced by his rich and diverse experiences that audiences love.

Kate is described as “smart,” “original,” and “hilarious.” Her unique sense of comedy is sarcastic, spunky and yet upbeat. 

May 30 & 31 James Yon & Ants Rants

James is a Florida native and one of America’s hottest up-and-coming comedians. He is also host of his own Xfinity Channel show.

At 47 years old, Ants is a storyteller who blends his experiences with humor, sharp wit, and a refreshing outlook on life. A self-proclaimed “Happy Cap,” he lives with cerebral palsy but refuses to let it define him.

Comedy Zone tickets are $25.

LIVE IN THE LOOP

A musical variety of the best local musicians will perform on our expanded Outdoor Loop Stage on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with different groups scheduled for every night. Bands play from 5:30pm-9pm each evening.
