The Board of County Commissioners invites all citizens to attend the All-Hazards Disaster Preparedness Expo on Saturday, April 26th from 10am to 2pm. The event will be hosted at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex, located at 3901 26th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Hurricane Season begins the first day of June, but other disasters can strike at any time. “The Disaster Preparedness Expo is an opportunity to become informed, gather resources, ask questions, and have a little fun,” said David Johnson, IRC Emergency Services Director. The Expo is centered around preparing for all hazards including hurricanes, wildfires, floods, and hazmat incidents. This free community event will be filled with fun for the kids, food and giveaways.
