Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County in conjunction with Mandy and Ray Hooker invite you to a viewing at Indian River Distillery, 3308 Aviation Blvd. in Vero Beach. Exhibit Theme: “Old Florida” on view through May 29. Featured Artists include Judy Burgarella, Merana Cadorette and Mary Carter.
Riverside Theatre offers Comedy Zone on May 3, 6 p.m. Riverside’s showcase of professional comedians touring the comedy circuit takes the Waxlax Stage. Comedians: Bob Steen & Chris Robinson.

McKee Botanical Garden offers Sean Kenney’s Nature Pop!® Made with LEGO® bricks Exhibition on view through 5/4. Featuring 40 sculptures made with over 800,000 LEGO; Bricks and explores the beauty of nature through contemporary, stylized, and colorful displays that stand in striking contrast with their surroundings.
Vero Beach Museum of Art offers French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850-1950 on view through June 22. This winter, the internationally touring French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850-1950, makes its first-ever stop in southeast Florida at the Vero Beach Museum of Art.
The exhibition showcases 59 artworks from the Brooklyn Museum’s esteemed collection of European art, spanning the era between the Revolution of 1848 and the conclusion of World War II-a period marked by significant social, intellectual, and political upheaval in France. The exhibition highlights the avant-garde movements that shaped modern art in the 19th and 20th centuries, featuring works by renowned artists native to France, as well as those who studied and exhibited there.

Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Timeless: Robert Farber’s Fashion Photography. Exhibition runs through 8/31. Robert Farber’s professional practice spans commercial and fine art photography, with subject matter ranging from fashion and portraits to still life and landscapes. The works featured in Timeless are drawn from two major bodies of work: his Vintage Fashion series, captured during commercial shoots, and the Deterioration series, which consists of prints from his earlier fashion photography.
Vero Beach Art Club offers Summer Splash Member Art Exhibit runs through June 22. Come by and see this fun Member show. At the same time, artist and artisan members of the Art Club fill the adjoining Marketplace space with wares for purchase.
Environmental Learning Center offers Sebastian Inlet: Past, Present & Future on May 8, 12 p.m. Join us for an insightful look at the 106-year journey of the Sebastian Inlet District, an independent special taxing district established by the Florida Legislature to maintain the navigational channel between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon. Explore the inlet’s rich history, learn about current and upcoming projects, and gain a deeper understanding of this vital waterway and the people who keep it flowing.
