Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County is on exhibit at the Indian River County Courthouse, 2000 16th Avenue, Vero Beach and extended through August 7. Deutilization Conceptualism: The Evolution of Meaning Beyond Function is a solo art exhibit by Viktor Genel.
Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Free Admission on June 14. The Vero Beach Museum of Art offers free admission every second Saturday of the month. Second Saturdays features a variety of cultural offerings, including the widely popular Museums Studios for families from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Complementary programming such as performances, lectures, films, and related expressions of arts and humanities will continue throughout the afternoon on select Saturdays.
McKee Botanical Gardens offers 20th Annual Waterlily Celebration on June 14, 8:30 a.m. Internationally acclaimed waterlilies will take center stage in the historic ponds and tranquil water mazes. Environmental Learning Center offers Free Admission All Weekend on June 14 and June 15. In honor of Father’s Day and National Get Outdoors Day, ELC is FREE all weekend long. Bring the family for a day of outdoor adventures. Visit our Discovery Station aquariums and observe fish species from the Indian River Lagoon up-close; mangrove snapper, sheepshead, snook, flounder, eels, lionfish, seahorses, and more!

A showcase for local elementary school students capturing their experiences through photography. On view May 1 to July 17.
Environmental Learning Center offers Nature’s Palette Workshop on June 14, 9:00 a.m. The Nature’s Palette Workshop is a family-friendly art experience focused on ephemeral art – a creative form that uses natural materials like leaves, rocks, and flowers to create temporary masterpieces in the landscape. This workshop is open to all ages and experience levels.
Vero Beach Museum of Art offers French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850-1950 on view through June 22. This winter, the internationally touring French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850-1950, makes its first-ever stop in southeast Florida at the Vero Beach Museum of Art.
The exhibition showcases 59 artworks from the Brooklyn Museum’s esteemed collection of European art, spanning the era between the Revolution of 1848 and the conclusion of World War II-a period marked by significant social, intellectual, and political upheaval in France. The exhibition highlights the avant-garde movements that shaped modern art in the 19th and 20th centuries, featuring works by renowned artists native to France, as well as those who studied and exhibited there.
Riverside Theatre offers Annie JR. on June 14, 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Everyone’s favorite orphan is back in this hilarious 60-minute stage spectacle, based on the smash hit film and beloved Broadway musical. Performed by students aged 11-18.
Vero Beach Art Club offers Summer Splash Member Art Exhibit runs through June 22. Come by and see this fun Member show. At the same time, artist and artisan members of the Art Club fill the adjoining Marketplace space with wares for purchase.

Vero Heritage offers An Evening with Rody Johnson on June 19, 6:00 p.m. at the Vero Beach Heritage Center. Local author Sue Kennedy Holbrook, sixth generation member of Kennedy citrus family, will join fellow author and Vero native Rody Johnson on stage for casual conversation about Rody’s Vero books, from WW II U-Boats off our shore to archeology of Vero Man to Jackie Robinson and Dodgertown. We will also get a sneak preview of Rody’s new book, Forever Vero, to be published in the fall.
Vero Beach Art Club offers Veterans Art Classes on June 19, 6:00 p.m. Open to local Veterans interested in learning how to paint, draw, and use art as a form of therapy. Riverside Theatre offers SAK Comedy Lab on June 19, 6:30 p.m. Witness the talented entertainers from SAK Comedy Lab do what they do best – make everything up right before your eyes! This energetic and interactive show will feature SAK Comedy Lab pros as they perform a series of hilarious scenes with outlandish characters and inventive songs, all created spontaneously, with nothing to spark the comedy except suggestions and ideas from the AUDIENCE!
North Indian River County Library offers Blockbuster Movie Day on June 20, 1:30 p.m. Join us to watch a recent release and enjoy free popcorn and water provided by the Friends of the North IRC Library. Admission is free and there is no registration required to attend.
Riverside Theatre offers Annie KIDS on June 20 and June 21, 2:00 p.m and 7:00 p.m. The classic cartoon character comes to life in a 30-minute version of the Broadway musical. Performed by students aged 6-11.

Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Timeless: Robert Farber’s Fashion Photography. Exhibition runs through 8/31. Robert Farber’s professional practice spans commercial and fine art photography, with subject matter ranging from fashion and portraits to still life and landscapes. The works featured in Timeless are drawn from two major bodies of work: his Vintage Fashion series, captured during commercial shoots, and the Deterioration series, which consists of prints from his earlier fashion photography.

Join us for a soul-soothing morning on the water, kayaking through the mangroves with Marc as your guide. North Indian River County Library offers French Conversation Classes on June 21, 1:30 p.m. This is an informal meeting for French speakers of all levels to practice and enhance their conversational abilities. Please note, this is not for beginners, but rather an opportunity for those with prior French language experience to connect and converse. No registration required to attend. Free.
