Arts, entertainment and fun in Vero Beach, Sebastian and Indian River County as compiled by the Cultural Council of Indian River County for July 19 – July 26.

Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County is on exhibit at the Indian River County Courthouse, 2000 16th Avenue, Vero Beach and extended through August 7. Deutilization Conceptualism: The Evolution of Meaning Beyond Function is a solo art exhibit by Viktor Genel.

Riverside Theatre offers Legally Blonde on July 19, 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. A full-length production of the Broadway musical. Based on the award-winning comedy film, Legally Blonde is the story of a fashionable sorority queen, Elle Woods, who follows her ex-boyfriend to law school. There she discovers that there is more to her than just looks. The production is performed by students aged 13-20.

Riverside Theatre offers Vegas Nights on July 19, 5:00 pm. The Theatre’s lobby will be transformed into a casino as a fundraiser to benefit the Theatre’s children’s programs.

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach offers Buddhist Sitting Group on July 21, 3:00 p.m. Find peace in the present moment and experience calming, mindful meditation. All are welcome. No charge.

Summer’s Delight is the theme. Featured Artists include Judy Burgarella, Tony Caruso, Peter Jordan, Joan Mercer and Mark Wygonik.

Environmental Learning Center offers Lagoon Adventures Summer Camp weekly from June – August. Canoe excursions, boat trips, STEAM activities, scavenger hunts, island exploration, seine netting, field trips, and more! Explore ecosystems, habitats, and discover new things about over 1,000 ocean and Indian River Lagoon species. Scholarships available.

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach offers Qigong and Yoga on July 23, 8:00 a.m. Take a moment for yourself and breathe, stretch, and connect. Join us for a rejuvenating Qigong and Yoga session at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach. Please bring a Yoga mat. Donations accepted.

Featured Artists include Tony Caruso, Ella Chabot, Peter Jordan, Joan Mercer, John McAleer and Yvonne Steere. On view through September 18.

Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Timeless: Robert Farber’s Fashion Photography.  Exhibition runs through 8/31.  Robert Farber’s professional practice spans commercial and fine art photography, with subject matter ranging from fashion and portraits to still life and landscapes. The works featured in Timeless are drawn from two major bodies of work: his Vintage Fashion series, captured during commercial shoots, and the Deterioration series, which consists of prints from his earlier fashion photography.

Riverside Theatre offers Howl at the Moon on July 24, 6:40 p.m. More than a dueling pianos show, Howl at the Moon is a high-energy music show. Come sing, dance, and howl as the most talented musicians perform your favorite rock, pop, and dance hits from the 80’s, 90’s, and today!

Riverside Theatre offers Comedy Zone on July 24 and July 25, 6:30 p.m. Riverside’s showcase of professional comedians touring the comedy circuit takes the Waxlax Stage. Comedians are: Dylan Vattelana & Lindsay Glazer

Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County is on Exhibit at Vero Beach City Hall, 1053 20th Place through October 23. Inspired is the theme. Hallway gallery features works by Jen Berlin. Council Chambers gallery features works by Merana Cadorette and Richard Gillmor.

Riverside Theatre offers Live in the Loop on July 24, 25 and 26, 5:30 p.m. Local musicians play the Loop Outdoor Stage this Thursday with the band being: Groove Kings. Friday’s band is: Pepperland. Saturday’s band is: Darkside of Sol.

Environmental Learning Center offers Dolphin Drift: SUP Yoga on July 26, 9:00 a.m. This is a beginner friendly, yin-based class perfect for all levels.  We invite you to embrace the gentle movement of the water as part of your practice. With the board as your floating mat and the sky as your ceiling, you’ll leave feeling grounded, restored, and renewed. You are encouraged to bring your own paddleboard, but the ELC has 2 paddleboards available for rent.  **Pre-registration is required.**
