news release
Treasure Coast Community Health (TCCH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jose Zirena as the organization’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Jose brings more than 30 years of financial leadership experience, including two decades dedicated to Community Health Centers (CHCs) across Florida, Vermont, and New Hampshire.
Jose is well-versed in the unique financial landscape of CHCs, with extensive expertise in reporting, budgeting, and strategic projection. A strong advocate for access to care, Jose’s passion for community health is deeply personal. As a young parent, he and his family received care from compassionate providers. That experience sparked a career-long commitment to community, ensuring others can access quality care, regardless of their circumstances.
“Jose’s leadership is grounded in servant leadership and teamwork,” said Vicki Soulé, CEO of TCCH. “He believes that when we help each other succeed, the organization succeeds. His collaborative approach is already making a positive impact as we continue to strengthen our financial systems and expand care in our community.”
Jose joins TCCH during a period of strategic growth, with goals to streamline operations and ensure long-term sustainability. His ability to navigate complex funding structures while maintaining a mission-driven focus makes him a key asset to the leadership team.
“I’m excited to join TCCH and be part of a team that’s passionate about serving the community,” said Jose. “I believe in the power of working together and using our resources wisely to ensure more people have access to the care they need. I fell in love with the community health center world and that is a world I want to live in.”
