Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County exhibit at the Indian River County Courthouse, 2000 16th Avenue, Vero Beach. The Good, The Rad, & The Lovely. P and Jeff Hall show their colorful work August 7 through November 6.
Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Timeless: Robert Farber’s Fashion Photography. Exhibition runs through 8/31. Robert Farber’s professional practice spans commercial and fine art photography, with subject matter ranging from fashion and portraits to still life and landscapes. The works featured in Timeless are drawn from two major bodies of work: his Vintage Fashion series, captured during commercial shoots, and the Deterioration series, which consists of prints from his earlier fashion photography.
Center for Spiritual Care offers Liminality Mini-Retreat on Aug. 30, 9:00 a.m. Through guided meditation, reflective journaling, spacious silence, and meaningful group sharing, we’ll explore this in-between space (Liminal Space) together with curiosity, compassion, and presence.
Environmental Learning Center offers Guided Kayak Excursions on Aug. 30 & Sept. 6, 9:00 a.m. Join our trained nature guide and paddle the serene waters of the Indian River Lagoon exploring this unique ecosystem with abundant wildlife and hidden mangrove tunnels! We provide all the gear you need.
Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County welcomes two 30-foot murals originally housed in the Vero Beach Community Center—The History of the Treasure Coast (1998) and The Habitats of Vero Beach (2012)—have been relocated to the second-floor foyer of Indian River County Administration Building A. These collaborative works showcase both the region’s history and its diverse natural habitats. Their new placement in the Administration Building provides a safe, prominent setting where residents, visitors, and schoolchildren can enjoy and learn from these cultural treasures as part of Indian River County’s centennial celebration.
Environmental Learning Center offers Dolphin Drift: SUP Yoga on Aug. 30, 9:30 a.m. This is a beginner friendly, yin-based class perfect for all levels. We invite you to embrace the gentle movement of the water as part of your practice. With the board as your floating mat and the sky as your ceiling, you’ll leave feeling grounded, restored, and renewed. **Pre-registration is required.**
Environmental Learning Center offers Wild Wednesdays – Unstructured Play for Homeschoolers on Sept. 3, 3:00 p.m. Join at the F.U.N. Zone Nature Playscape (Families Unplugged in Nature). Designed with homeschool families in mind, this is a chance for kids and parents to unplug, connect with others, and enjoy all the outdoor spaces the ELC has to offer.

Riverside Theatre offers Comedy Zone on Sept. 5 and 6, 6:30 p.m. Riverside’s showcase of professional comedians touring the comedy circuit takes the Waxlax Stage. Comedians are: Renard Hirsch and Doug Almeida.

Vero Beach Museum of Art offers A Tangled Plot: Works by Annie Blazejack and Geddes Levenson on View July 12 through October 5, 2025. In more than 40 paintings and mixed-media works, the duo reveals their unique and highly collaborative artistic process. The works illuminate their deep connections to the Florida landscape through exploration of its diverse wildlife, marine life, and intricate ecosystems, including swamps, marshes, hardwood hammocks, and mangrove forests.
Environmental Learning Center offers The Gator Group Fiber Artists Artist Meet & Greet on Sept. 5, 4:00 p.m. Join us for a friendly gathering with the talented artists behind The Gator Group Fiber Artists exhibit. Enjoy live music, light refreshments, and a chance to chat with the creators of these stunning hooked-rug works. Free to attend – please RSVP. Exhibit runs September through October.
