Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County exhibit at the Indian River County Courthouse, 2000 16th Avenue, Vero Beach. The Good, The Rad, & The Lovely. P and Jeff Hall show their colorful work August 7 through November 6.

Environmental Learning Center offers Guided Kayak Excursions on Sept. 6, 10 & 13, 9:00 a.m. Join our trained nature guide and paddle the serene waters of the Indian River Lagoon exploring this unique ecosystem with abundant wildlife and hidden mangrove tunnels! We provide all the gear you need

Isola Arts offers Waldo’s Secret Art & Antique Barn Sale on Sept. 6, 7 & 8. Friday is our opening reception from 3 to 5pm. Saturday and Sunday the sale continues from 10am to 3pm both days. Come join us for a very unique art event featuring some very special picks from Waldo’s many treasures. Drive to the back of the property next to the silos where you’ll find art, music and libations waiting for you.

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship offers Emma’s Revolution Brings We Are the Power to Vero Beach on Sept. 7, 10:00 a.m.  Welcoming nationally acclaimed activist folk duo Emma’s Revolution for We Are The Power, a special Sunday service. This inspiring event is free and open to the public–all are welcome. Emma’s Revolution, the award-winning duo of Pat Humphries and Sandy O, is known for their bold, soulful songs infused with messages of social justice, peace, and human rights.

Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County is on exhibit at Indian River County Intergenerational Recreation Center, 1590 9th Street SW through October 30. Summer’s Delight is the theme. Featured Artists include Judy Burgarella, Tony Caruso, Peter Jordan, Joan Mercer and Mark Wygonik.

Center for Spiritual Care offers Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction on Sept. 8, 6:00 p.m. This is an eight-week program designed to instruct participants on how to have greater attention control. Classes include meditation practice, experiential learning and group discussion.

Environmental Learning Center offers Wild Wednesdays – Unstructured Play for Homeschoolers on Sept. 10, 3:00 p.m. Join at the F.U.N. Zone Nature Playscape (Families Unplugged in Nature). Designed with homeschool families in mind, this is a chance for kids and parents to unplug, connect with others, and enjoy all the outdoor spaces the ELC has to offer.

Emerson Center offers Christine Thomas and Art Student Exhibition Reception on Sept. 10, 5:30 p.m. An Exhibition Featuring the Work of Christine Thomas and Her Students.  Gallery Hours Vary.  Exhibit runs through October 15.

Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County is on Exhibit at Vero Beach City Hall, 1053 20th Place through October 23. Inspired is the theme. Hallway gallery features works by Jen Berlin. Council Chambers gallery features works by Merana Cadorette and Richard Gillmor.

Vero Beach Museum of Art offers A Tangled Plot: Works by Annie Blazejack and Geddes Levenson on View July 12 through October 5, 2025. In more than 40 paintings and mixed-media works, the duo reveals their unique and highly collaborative artistic process. The works illuminate their deep connections to the Florida landscape through exploration of its diverse wildlife, marine life, and intricate ecosystems, including swamps, marshes, hardwood hammocks, and mangrove forests.

Environmental Learning Center offers The Gator Group Fiber Artists Artist Meet & Greet on Sept. 5, 4:00 p.m. Join us for a friendly gathering with the talented artists behind The Gator Group Fiber Artists exhibit. Enjoy live music, light refreshments, and a chance to chat with the creators of these stunning hooked-rug works. Free to attend – please RSVP. Exhibit runs September through October.

Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County in conjunction with Mandy and Ray Hooker invite you to a viewing at Indian River Distillery, 3308 Aviation Blvd. in Vero Beach.  Exhibit Theme: “Stories By The Still”  featuring Plein Air artists from Isola Arts: Katherine Larsen, Gail Holl & Mary O’Neal. On view August 28 to November 20.
