CCIRC Arts & Entertainment Calendar for IRG

Arts, entertainment and fun in Vero Beach, Sebastian and Indian River County as compiled by the Cultural Council of Indian River County for Nov. 1 to Nov. 8

Garden Club of Indian River County offers its 34th Annual Ornament Release at participating stores on November 1.

Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Double Portraits, an exhibition on view through January 11, 2026.  Featuring 47 photographs by 34 artists, each capturing the rich and ever-evolving American South through the concept of a “double portrait.” 

Isola Arts presents Waldo’s Secret Art & Antique Barn November Sale” Nov. 1-2 at Waldo’s Secret Garden, 5000 12th Street, Vero Beach.  This is a showcase of artists of Isola Arts in their 100 year old antique barn, along with some very special picks from Waldo’s many antiques and treasures. Drive to the back of the property, past the giant Tripson Milk Carton, next to the silos where you’ll find art, antiques, music and libations. Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is FREE.

Vero Beach Art Club presents Art in the Park on Nov. 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A fine Arts and Crafts Exhibit offered on various Sundays Nov.-March. Walk along Ocean Dr at Humiston Park.

McKee Botanical Garden offers Savor a Sunday in Paradise at McKee’s Jungle Brunch November 2 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Enjoy mimosas, bananas foster French toast, quiche and other brunch items for the whole family.

AAUW Kicks off Book Review Breakfast with ‘The Women’, Nov. 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Richardson Center, Indian River State College in Vero Beach.  The event is free and open to the public.

Artists Guild Gallery presents ‘Vero Ocean Views’ by photographer Peter Jordan. His stunning photographs are on exhibit, and for sale during the month of Nov., with a Guest Artist Reception Nov. 7 from 5-8 p.m.

Gallery 14 presents the work of popular, award winning, contemporary painter Jane Johnson.  The exhibit will run from Nov. 4 – 28, with an Artist Reception on Friday Nov. 7, from 5-8 p.m.

Environmental Learning Center offers Full Moon Guided Kayak Excursion on Nov 5, 5:00 p.m. Glide across the shimmering waters of the Indian River Lagoon under the glow of the rising full moon. Paddle quietly through winding channels, silhouetted by mangroves against the night sky. You’ll experience the lagoon’s magic in a whole new way.  Please arrive 30 minutes before the start time.

The Emerson Center offers The Florida Art Chicks and Friends Exhibition in its Gallery, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Weekdays, closed Wednesdays, through November 19.

Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County is on exhibit at Indian River County Intergenerational Recreation Center, 1590 9th Street SW through Jan. 28, 2026. Energized is the theme. Featured Artists include Tony Caruso, Eileen Lovre, Joan Mercer, and Mark Wygonik.

Environmental Learning Center presents A Cuban Season, Nov. 1 through Dec. 31.  A gallery exhibition featuring six Cuban artists working across painting, engraving, drawing, printmaking, and more. Each piece tells its own story of home, memory, and identity, highlighting the rich diversity of Cuban art.

Environmental Learning Center offers Wild Wednesdays on Nov. 5, 3:00 p.m. Join at the F.U.N. Zone Nature Playscape (Families Unplugged in Nature). Designed with homeschool families in mind, this is a chance for kids and parents to unplug, connect with others, and enjoy all the outdoor spaces the ELC has to offer.

Melbourne Chamber Music Society presents The Dorian Woodwind Quintet Nov. 7, 7:30 p.m. Chamber music for woodwind quintet by Mozart, Carl Nielsen, Pauline Hall, and Johan Kvandal. Held at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 2030 N. A1A, Indialantic FL.

Environmental Learning Center offers Guided Kayak Excursions on Nov. 8, 9:00 a.m. Join our trained nature guide and paddle the serene waters of the Indian River Lagoon exploring this unique ecosystem with abundant wildlife and hidden mangrove tunnels! We provide all the gear you need.

Environmental Learning Center offers Nature’s Palette Workshop on Nov. 8, 9:00 a.m. This is a family-friendly art experience focused on ephemeral art and uses natural materials like leaves, rocks, and flowers to create temporary masterpieces in the landscape. Open to all ages and experience levels.

Environmental Learning Center offers Dolphin Drift: SUP Yoga on Nov. 8, 9:30 a.m. This is a beginner friendly, yin-based class perfect for all levels.  We invite you to embrace the gentle movement of the water as part of your practice. Center for Spiritual Care offers Soulful Harvest, the amazing artwork of Lisa Lugo and Gail Lois Jaffe. Exhibit runs through Nov. 14.

Riverside Theatre offers Little Shop of Horrors through Nov. 9.  Show times vary. You’ll scream with delight at Little Shop of Horrors, the outlandishly funny science fiction musical by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. Featuring a pop/rock score, Little Shop tells the story of Seymour, a meek and dejected assistant at a flower shop who happens upon a strange plant on his way home.

Cultural Council’s Member Exhibit at Vero Beach Museum Of Art “Progressive Perspectives” is on view in the Patten Community Gallery to November 30.

Center for Spiritual Care is celebrating its 25th Anniversary Nov. 20, 7 p.m. at the Heritage Center with its Gathering the Light event. Enjoy bluegrass with a local band, BBQ, and community spirit as they celebrate 25 years and Gather the Light for 25 more.   Tickets required.
