Environmental Learning Center offers Family Fishing Fun Day Nov. 29 at 8:30 a.m. Join one of our educators to experience the wonder of fishing with your family from the ELC’s dock.

American Association of University Women Vero Beach presents A Tale of Courage and Triumph Book Review Breakfast Dec 1 at 9:30 a.m. Dana King, local artist and sculptor, will review “All Blood Runs Red,” by Phil Keith and Tom Clavin, the story of Eugene Bullard, who ignored racial assumptions and cultural limits. The event is free and open to the public.

Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation offers Historic House Tours Tuesday 1-5 p.m. Dec. 2 (Each Tues. to the end of April, 2026).  See how the noted poet and author lived in her “cracker” architecture-styled house during a docent led tour at the Indian River State College Mueller Campus in Vero Beach.

North Indian River County Library offers Silent Book Club – Sebastian Dec. 2 at 6:00 p.m. Silence is Golden, Reading is Bliss! Silent Book Club is a global community of readers that meet once a month to read silently, together. Just like minded readers getting lost in the world of books, alone, together. 

Cultural Council of Indian River County invites the public to attend their Annual Meeting Wednesday December 3 at 3:00 pm in the conference room at Indian River Chamber of Commerce, 1216 21st St. Vero Beach.

Environmental Learning Center offers Wild Wednesdays on Dec. 3 at 3:00 p.m. Join at the F.U.N. Zone Nature Playscape (Families Unplugged in Nature). Designed with homeschool families in mind, this is a chance for kids and parents to unplug, connect with others, and enjoy all the outdoor spaces the ELC has to offer.

McKee Botanical Garden presents JUNGLE LIGHTS Dec. 3 at 6:00 p.m. McKee’s all new and expanded glittering holiday light display will lead visitors through six distinct areas of the historic jungle, each evoking a different region of the Amazon Jungle. Inspired by plant explorers of a century ago, JUNGLE LIGHTS blends rainforest sights and sounds with the magic of the season for an unforgettable holiday adventure.

The Community Church of Vero Beach offers Advent Poetry & Music Series Dec. 4 at 11:00 a.m. The Poetry & Music Series brings together talented, published, and nationally-recognized poets and local musicians to create a collaborative concert of the spoken word and music. You’ll hear improvisation, prepared musical works, piano, organ, and other instruments. All are welcome! Donation suggested.

Riverside Theatre offers Live in the Loop Local musicians play the Loop Outdoor Stage on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4: Rappture; Friday, Dec. 5: Soultime; Saturday, Dec 6: No Concert.

Artists Guild Gallery presents Vero Ocean Views’ by photographer Peter Jordan. His stunning photographs are on exhibit, and for sale during the month of Nov.

Cultural Council’s Member Exhibit at Vero Beach Museum Of Art “Progressive Perspectives” is on view in the Patten Community Gallery through November 30.

Environmental Learning Center presents A Cuban Season through Dec. 19.  A gallery exhibition featuring six Cuban artists working across painting, engraving, drawing, printmaking, and more. Each piece tells its own story of home, memory, and identity, highlighting the rich diversity of Cuban art.

Center for Spiritual Care presents Vive FOCA Art Exhibition This is a juried group show featuring approximately 25 of the best artists in town. FOCA is Friends of Contemporary Art. Their art will be up from Nov. 21 – Dec. 24.

The Emerson Center presents Small Wonders Exhibition, A Holiday Showcase of Mini Masterpieces Gallery Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Weekdays, closed Wednesdays.  Exhibit Dates: Friday, November 21- Monday, December 29, 2025.

Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Double Portraits, an exhibition on view through January 11, 2026.  Featuring 47 photographs by 34 artists, each capturing the rich and ever-evolving American South through the concept of a “double portrait.”

Energized is the theme. Featured Artists include Tony Caruso, Eileen Lovre, Joan Mercer, and Mark Wygonik.
