Environmental Learning Center offers Walking Meditation on Dec. 28 at 1:00 p.m. Walking meditation is a ‘meditation in motion,’ great for beginners and seasoned meditators alike. If our daily lives are defined by ‘going to’ or ‘coming from’, walking meditation is a practice of mindfulness and being present in the moment.
Environmental Learning Center offers Holiday Break Camp Dec. 29 at 9:00 a.m. Looking for something the kids can do this holiday break? Register for one or all of our popular hands-on, feet-wet camps that will keep them active and engaged, and outdoors! Ages: 6-12 Theme: Florida Reptiles (ages 6-8), Feathered Friends (ages 9-12).
Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation offers Historic House Tours Tuesday 1-5 p.m. Dec. 30 (Each Tues. to the end of April, 2026). See how the noted poet and author lived in her “cracker” architecture-styled house during a docent led tour at the Indian River State College Mueller Campus in Vero Beach.
The North IRC Library is hosting Lens of the World- Documentary Series Dec. 31 (and the last Wednesday of each month) at 1:30 p.m. Join us to watch a documentary on a different topic each month and enjoy free popcorn and water provided by the Friends of the North IRC Library. Admission is free and there is no registration required to attend.
