Riverside Theatre offers Live in the Loop Local musicians play the Loop Outdoor Stage on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 5:30 p.m. –Saturday, 1/10/26: Joey Tenuto (Electrifying Rock & Blues) -Thursday, 1/15/26: Gypsy Strings Revival (Bluegrass) -Friday, 1/16/26: Johnny Debt (Hobo-Nouveau 1-man-band ) -Saturday, 1/17/26: Sleepin Dogz (multi-genre acoustic duo)

Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Second Saturday on Jan. 10, 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.   Admission is free every second Saturday of the month. Second Saturdays features a variety of cultural offerings, including the widely popular Museums Studios for families.  Activities vary each month.

Riverside Theatre offers Playtime in the Park on Jan. 10, 11:00 a.m. A FREE program for the community’s youngest audience members, it includes dance and theatre offerings from our education programs on the Theatre’s Loop Stage. Ideal for kids 2-5, entertaining for parents and the whole family, too!

The Vero Beach Art Club presents 37th Annual Art By the Sea Jan. 10 and 11 at 10:00 a.m. Held at the Vero Beach Museum of Art, this is a members show from both the Museum and the Art Club and offers artists the opportunity to display one piece of their artwork, all of which are available for purchase. The exhibit is open to the public and free to attend.

 The Community Church of Vero Beach presents their Congregational Art Show Jan. 11-25. You’ll see poems, paintings, pottery, and more displayed in their Narthex Gallery. View the gallery on Sundays 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., or Call ahead to view the gallery Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Double Portraits, an exhibition on view through January 11, 2026.  Featuring 47 photographs by 34 artists, each capturing the rich and ever-evolving American South through the concept of a “double portrait.” 

Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation offers Historic House Tours Sunday 1-5 p.m. Jan. 11 (Every second Sunday through Apri).  Come learn about the historic “cracker” style architecture and life of national author, Laura (Riding) Jackson. A docent led tour at the Indian River State College Mueller Campus in Vero Beach.

Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation offers Kids Write Outside 1 p.m. Jan 11. Creative writing activities for children ages 3 to 11 at the historic LRJF pole barn. Indian River State College Mueller Campus in Vero Beach.

Vero Beach Opera presents Verdi’s “Rigoletto” on Jan. 11 at 3 p.m. at Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center.  The opera is fully staged, with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra and English Supertitles.

Riverside Theatre’s Distinguished Lecturer Series presents Michael McFaul, former United States Ambassador to Russia. Showtimes are 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. January 12.

Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation offers Historic House Tours Tuesday 1-5 p.m. Jan 13 (Each Tues. to the end of April, 2026).  See how the noted poet and author lived in her “cracker” architecture-styled house during a docent led tour at the Indian River State College Mueller Campus in Vero Beach.

Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation presents An Evening with Scott Turow Fundraiser Jan. 13 at The Emerson Center.  Tickets required for Happy Hour (5-6 p.m.) and Main Event (6:30 p.m.), contact the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation.

Environmental Learning Center offers Wild Wednesdays Jan. 14 at 3:00 p.m. Join at the F.U.N. Zone Nature Playscape (Families Unplugged in Nature). Designed with homeschool families in mind, this is a chance for kids and parents to unplug, connect with others, and enjoy all the outdoor spaces the ELC has to offer.

The Emerson Center presents Lagoon by Brush and Lens Meet the Artists Reception. Celebrating the 2026 Indian River Lagoon. Wednesday Jan. 14 at 5:30p.m. View the photographers whose images bring the lagoon to life in the 2026 Indian River Lagoon Calendar, many of these works will be presented in striking specialty metal prints.

Environmental Learning Center offers a Beginners’ Bird Walk around the Environmental Learning Center on Jan. 15 and each third Thursday of the month) from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., registration required.

Music Angels offers La Herencia -Latin Band Fundraiser Jan 15 at 6:00 p.m. at The Heritage Center.  Fundraiser for Music Angels Education Fund’s Scholarships for the underserved population of the Treasure Coast.  Enjoy the Latin Rhythms while supporting children “Lifting Children into the World of Music.”

The North IRC Library is hosting a Blockbuster Movie Day Jan. 16 at 1:30 p.m. and every third Friday of the month! Join us to watch a recent release and enjoy free popcorn and water provided by the Friends of the North IRC Library. Admission is free and there is no registration required to attend.

Ballet Vero Beach presents All Rodrigues: The Trios Jan 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Jan. 17 at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m. Sometimes neoclassical, often contemporary, and always irreverent, Ballet Master and Principal dancer Camilo A. Rodriguez brings us a program of three contrasting trios that will leave audiences astounded by the breadth and depth of his work. Held at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center.

Sebastian Fine Arts & Music Festival Saturday Jan 17, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday Jan 18 10a.m.-4p.m. at Riverview Park, Sebastian

Environmental Learning Center offers Little Wonders on Jan. 17 at 10:00 a.m. An engaging outdoor nature enrichment and early literacy program for children 18 months to 4 years old. Participate in Interactive Story Time, Outdoor Mud Kitchen, Pond Exploration, and Nature Crafts.

Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County on exhibit Indian River County Administration Buildings A and B. “Reaping The Benefits” is the theme. Featured Artists include Judy Burgarella, Tony Caruso, Mary Carter, John McAleer and Sheila McAvoy. On view until January 1915, 2026.

The Vero Beach Art Club presents All About the Image, a Member Photography Exhibit showing to Jan. 30. This is a celebration of photographic creativity, technique, and artistic vision. Held at the Vero Beach Art Club Gallery, 1903 14th Ave.

Center for Spiritual Care presents Madeline Long’s New Works Exhibition, showing through the month of January.

Riverside Theatre offers A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder through Feb. 1.  Show times vary. Winner of the Tony® Award for Best Musical, the play is a murderous romp filled with unforgettable music, non-stop laughs and scene-stealing characters who meet their ends in the most creative and side-splitting ways.

Energized is the theme. Featured Artists include Tony Caruso, Eileen Lovre, Joan Mercer, and Mark Wygonik.

The Emerson Center presents Lagoon by Brush and Lens Exhibition Celebrating the 2026 Indian River Lagoon. Gallery Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Weekdays, closed Wednesdays.  Exhibit Dates to Feb 4.

Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County exhibit at the Indian River County Courthouse, 2000 16^th Avenue, Vero Beach.  The theme is “Bright, Colorful and Tropical”. Solo Exhibit by Eileen Lovre on view until February 6, 2026.

The Cave Gallery of Art presents Through My Eyes, Mary Lou Mullan Solo Exhibition through Feb. 8.
