Lagoonapalooza at the ELC

The Environmental Learning Center (ELC) is excited to present Lagoonapalooza 2026, a free Nature and Music Festival celebrating the beauty, biodiversity, and importance of the Indian River Lagoon. The event takes place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10 AM to 5 PM at ELC’s scenic 64-acre lagoon-island campus in Vero Beach.

Designed as a fun and educational community gathering for all ages, Lagoonapalooza brings together live music, hands-on environmental experiences, and local partners for a full day of exploration and entertainment.

Live Music Lineup

Festival-goers can enjoy live performances throughout the day:

Lagoon Gallery Stage

  • 10:15 – 11:15 AM: Chris Kahl

Pavilion Stage

  • 10:15 – 11:15 AM: Murphy Dogs
  • 11:45 AM – 2:15 PM: Gary Roland & The Landsharks Band
  • 2:30 – 5:00 PM: HOT PINK

Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets and relax while enjoying the music in a beautiful outdoor setting.

What to Expect

  • Dozens of eco-activities and interactive games with environmental partners
  • Live music and guest speakers throughout the day
  • Dip netting in the pond for kids to explore aquatic life
  • Touch tanks and aquariums
  • Food vendors and refreshments
  • Art galleries and eco-friendly crafts
  • Miles of boardwalk nature trails and a nature-inspired playscape

Quick pontoon and canoe trips will also be available, offering visitors a closer look at the Indian River Lagoon from the water.
