Vero Beach Museum of Art celebrates our Nation’s 250th year with American Made: Paintings and Sculpture from the DeMell Jacobsen Collection Jan. 31 to June 7. This is an exhibition of more than 80 works by renowned American artists, including Benjamin West, Sarah Miriam Peale, Edward Moran, John Singer Sargent, Mary Cassatt, Robert Henri, and Charles Alston. The exhibit spans 250 years, with an emphasis on the 19th and 20th centuries.
Vero Beach Art Club presents Art in the Park on Feb. 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A fine Arts and Crafts Exhibit offered on various Sundays Nov.- March. Walk along Ocean Dr at Humiston Park.
Environmental Learning Center offers Sunset/Full Moon Guided Kayak Excursion on Feb. 1, 5:00 p.m. Glide across the Indian River Lagoon with our experienced guide under the sunset and rising full moon. Paddle through quiet mangrove channels and discover the lagoon’s magic.
Riverside Theatre offers A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder through Feb. 1. Show times vary. Winner of the Tony® Award for Best Musical, the play is a murderous romp filled with unforgettable music, non-stop laughs and scene-stealing characters who meet their ends in the most creative and side-splitting ways.
AAUW-Vero Beach presents Peek Into the World ‘Below the Edge of Darkness’ Book Review Breakfast Feb. 2 at 9:30 a.m. Dr. Edith Widder discusses her book, “Below the Edge of Darkness”, a memoir hailed by The New York Times Book Review as “a thrilling blend of hard science and high adventure.” Held in the Richardson Center of the Indian River State College campus in Vero Beach.
Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County is on exhibit at Indian River County Intergenerational Recreation Center, 1590 9th Street SW. through Feb. 2. Emerging Artists Program presents “Through Their Eyes” exhibit of photography by Audubon Advocates’ after school program. On view through May 18.
Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation offers Historic House Tours Tuesday 1-5 p.m. Feb. 3 (Each Tues. to the end of April 2026). See how the noted poet and author lived in her “cracker” architecture-styled house during a docent led tour at the Indian River State College Mueller Campus in Vero Beach.

Riverside Theatre presents Mauritius Feb. 3 through Feb. 22, times vary. When her mother dies, tentative but tenacious Jackie is left with a mound of debt. One glimmer of hope comes by way of a stamp collection, which was willed to her by her mother. However, Jackie’s older half sister claims the collection belongs to her. Theresa Rebeck’s Mauritius is a comedic thriller with twists, turns and double crosses that will have audiences laughing one minute and gasping the next.
Gallery 14 presents The Collage Art of Derek Gores beginning Feb 3. The internationally acclaimed collage artist Derek Gores returns to Gallery 14 with another solo show in February 2026. Don’t miss this much-anticipated show.

Vero Beach Art Club presents New Dimensions 3D show Feb. 5 to 19. This newly restored event will be held at the Vero Beach Art Club Gallery at 1903 14th Ave in downtown Vero Beach, in the heart of the Arts District, and will feature works from 3-dimensional artists in ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, 3-D mixed media, sculpture and wood.
