Arts, entertainment and fun in Vero Beach, Sebastian and Indian River County as compiled by the Cultural Council of Indian River County for Feb. 14 to 21

Vero Beach Museum of Art (VBMA) offers a special anniversary edition of Second Saturdays on Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day.  VBMA will show its love of art and community with a special day that celebrates four decades of bringing people together through creativity and arts education in the heart of Vero Beach.  All day long, visitors can enjoy free admission to exhibitions, family art-making activities, artist demonstrations, live music, and food trucks.

Riverside Theatre offers Playtime in the Park on Feb. 14 & 21, 11:00 a.m. A FREE program for the community’s youngest audience members, it includes dance and theatre offerings from our education programs on the Theatre’s Loop Stage. Ideal for kids 2-5, entertaining for parents and the whole family, too!

Isola Arts brings you Waldo’s Secret ArtWalk Feb 14 & 15 at 11:00 a.m. An art show like no other at Waldo Sexton’s Historic Homestead, 5000 12th St. in Vero Beach. This is the art show everyone waits for each year, hosting over 38 artists in a unique jungle garden environment with artists under porticos and in Waldo’s historic barn. Fine Art, antique treasures, libations, live music, food trucks, free face painting, and a “Where’s Waldo” scavenger hunt.

The Sunrise Rotary Vero Beach presents its 15th Annual Florida Craft Brew and WingfestFeb. 14, 11:30 a.m. Over 200 Craft Beers to taste and Wing Contestants vying for Best Wings in Vero. The event will have some surprises for you this year so Bring your Sweetheart and make a day of it. Kids Rootbeer and Wing eating contest are big hits.

Vero Beach Chamber of Commerce brings you Sunset Saturday Concert on Ocean Drive Feb. 14 at 5:00 p.m.

Vero Beach Opera presents Opera Showcase Feb. 14 at 7:00 p.m. Opera’s Greatest Hits: Arias, Duets, & Quartets. Take a beautiful and emotional journey through some of opera’s best and favorite repertoire, featuring soprano, mezzo, tenor and baritone voices with piano. Held at the VBHS Performing Arts Center. 

Vero Beach Art Club presents Art in the Park on Feb. 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A fine Arts and Crafts Exhibit offered on various Sundays Nov.- March. Walk along Ocean Dr at Humiston Park.

Atlantic Classical Orchestra Melody and Counterpoint Sunday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. In a sea of traditional chamber music, there are occasional atolls of unusual instrumentation. Mozart’s Oboe Quartet is one of the first—a jewel of invention and charm. At the Vero Beach Museum of Art.

Christ by the Sea is hosting Eight Piano Monster Concert on Feb. 15 at 3:00 & 7:00 p.m. Pianists Kelley Coppage, Jacob Craig, Marcos Flores, Becca Harrison, Joanne Knott, Andrew Miller, Rochelle Sallee, and Jill Truax will perform together on 8 pianos with their 16 hands and 80 fingers flying and dancing all over 704 ivory keys! Ticketed. 

Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation offers Historic House Tours Tuesday 1-5 p.m. Feb. 17 (Each Tues. to the end of April 2026).  See how the noted poet and author lived in her “cracker” architecture-styled house during a docent led tour at the Indian River State College Mueller Campus in Vero Beach.

Environmental Learning Center offers Schumann Travel Photography Talk Feb. 17 at 4:00 p.m. Mark and Cheri share a photography travel talk, offering an inside look at their adventures, creative process, and the moments that inspired the photographs on display.

Unity Spiritual Center of Vero Beach presents The OM Circle Tues. Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. Held every Tuesday for an evening of live Inspirational Music, Kirtan, Chanting, Crystal Bowl Meditation, & Dancing. Come together in community for soulful expression, healing, and upliftment. Experience the power of sacred sound and heartfelt connection.



Environmental Learning Center offers Schumann Homeless Project Book Talk Feb. 18 at 10:30 a.m.  Mark Schuman present his book “Homeless in a Land of Plenty”. What he saw and learned about America’s growing homeless crisis is presented in a book of black and white film images that reveal the human side of a story too often reported only in numbers. 

Vero Beach Museum of Art education staff and docents offers an Art Talk “Building America” on Feb. 18 at 12:00 p.m.  An in-depth focus on select artworks from special exhibitions and the permanent collection. Registration required.

Environmental Learning Center offers Wild Wednesdays Feb. 18 at 3:00 p.m. Join at the F.U.N. Zone Nature Playscape (Families Unplugged in Nature). Designed with homeschool families in mind, this is a chance for kids and parents to unplug, connect with others, and enjoy all the outdoor spaces the ELC has to offer.

Vero Heritage Center presents its monthly Bluegrass Concert Feb. 18 at 6:30 p.m. A different Blue Grass band every month until May for your delight. February’s concert features a Grateful Dawg tribute, with Mickey Abraham and Billy Gilmore playing Jerry Garcia and David Grisman.  Free admission.

Environmental Learning Center offers a Beginners’ Bird Walk around the Environmental Learning Center on Feb. 19 and each third Thursday of the month) from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., registration required.

The Community Church of Vero Beach hosts Lenten Poetry & Music Series Feb. 19 (each Thurs. in Lent) at 11:00 a.m. Nationally recognized, published, and talented poets present the spoken word in collaboration with local musical talent. Elevate your Lenten journey with the spoken word and music in Grace Chapel. Donation suggested.

Music Works Concerts presents Simon and Garfunkel Through the Years Feb. 19 at 7:00 p.m. This show has been critically acclaimed as one of the world’s greatest tribute shows. Having toured the globe for the past 14 years, selling out theatres and receiving standing ovations, Simon and Garfunkel Through the Years is a masterpiece not to be missed. Held at the Emerson Center. 

Vero Beach Art Club presents New Dimensions 3D show to Feb. 19. This newly restored event will be held at the Vero Beach Art Club Gallery at 1903 14th Ave in downtown Vero Beach, in the heart of the Arts District, and will feature works from 3-dimensional artists in ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, 3-D mixed media, sculpture and wood.

Vero Beach Museum of Art hosts 45th Asbury Short Film Concert Asbury Shorts USA Feb. 20 at 7:00 p.m. and Feb. 21 at 1:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. The program will feature a fast-paced and highly entertaining lineup of the best in short film Comedy, Drama, Documentary and Animation. The two-hour showcase will include Oscar Nominees, US Film Festival “Best in Show” winners and international honorees past and present. Pre-registration required.

Environmental Learning Center offers Little Wonders on Feb. 21 at 10:00 a.m. An engaging outdoor nature enrichment and early literacy program for children 18 months to 4 years old. Participate in Interactive Story Time, Outdoor Mud Kitchen, Pond Exploration, and Nature Crafts.

Sebastian Art Tour 2026 offers its Art Studio Tour Feb. 21 beginning 10:00 a.m. This tour raises awareness of the wonderful and exciting art and the growing community of artists and artisans in this historic city on the shores of the Indian River Lagoon and the City of Sebastian Florida. Riverside Theatre presents Mauritius through Feb. 22, times vary.  When her mother dies, tentative but tenacious Jackie is left with a mound of debt. One glimmer of hope comes by way of a stamp collection, which was willed to her by her mother. However, Jackie’s older half sister claims the collection belongs to her. Theresa Rebeck’s Mauritius is a comedic thriller with twists, turns and double crosses that will have audiences laughing one minute and gasping the next.

Vero Beach Museum of Art celebrates our Nation’s 250th year with American Made: Paintings and Sculpture from the DeMell Jacobsen Collection to June 7. This is an exhibition of more than 80 works by renowned American artists, including Benjamin West, Sarah Miriam Peale, Edward Moran, John Singer Sargent, Mary Cassatt, Robert Henri, and Charles Alston. The exhibit spans 250 years, with an emphasis on the 19th and 20th centuries.
