Indian River Clay’s 2026 Form + Fire, a juried show showcasing contemporary ceramic artwork, will run from March 6 to March 15 at Raw Space Gallery.
The exhibit will celebrate the creativity, innovation and artistry of about 60 ceramic artists and more than 80 pieces of their work. It features clay in a variety of forms, including functional, sculptural, decorative, and experimental ceramic pieces, with the requirement that clay serves as the primary material.
Ceramic artists from Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin counties will be well represented, but artists from 12 states also got their pieces accepted into this year’s Form + Fire.
The exhibit opens to the public with an artists’ reception from 5 to 8 p.m. March 6 at Raw Space Gallery, 1795 Old Dixie Highway, Vero Beach. A juried art show, juror and acclaimed artist Patrick Dragon will be attending. Refreshments will be served. The artwork will be for sale, so come ready to buy a beautiful piece of pottery!
The show also will be open to the public daily through March 15. Gallery hours will be noon to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8 and March 14-15; and 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday, March 9-13.
New this year is a virtual exhibition. The pieces in the exhibit will be available to view and buy online from March 16 to May 16. To view the virtual gallery, go to IndianRiverClay.org.
Indian River Clay also would like to thank the sponsors of this year’s show: Schlitt Insurance Services Inc., Kim Zimmermann, Goff and Associates LLC and iTHINK Financial. Their financial support has been vital in making the show a success.
