Today, the Windsor Charitable Foundation is proud to announce that the 2026 Charity Polo Cup presented by PNC Bank raised $417,000 in net proceeds. The funds will be shared equally among the event’s local non-profit beneficiaries: Childcare Resources of Indian River, Crossover Mission, and the Environmental Learning Center.
“The success of the Charity Polo Cup reflects the extraordinary generosity and benevolence of the Windsor community,” said Luke O’Boyle, General Manager at Windsor. “We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated and supported the event, helping us to create a memorable event for our guests, and lasting change for our nonprofit partners.”
Hosting this year’s event was Galen Weston, who welcomed the 650 luncheon guests. This year’s two competing teams were named in tribute to his mother, the late Hon. Hilary M. Weston, celebrating her Irish-Canadian heritage, her enduring legacy at Windsor, and dedication to the community’s equestrian program. The teams, the Maple Leafs and the Shamrocks, featured an exceptional lineup of talent, including Nina Clarkin, Lucas Criado, Martín Jáuregui, Sebastian Koga, Magoo Laprida, Santiago Llavallol, Fred Mannix, and Harrison Reicher.
The high intensity match ended in a tie with a final score of 8-8. During the closing ceremonies, Fred Mannix was named Most Valuable Player, while a 9-year-old pony named Nikki, played by Magoo Laprida, earned Best Playing Pony honors.
A highlight of the 2026 program was the returning junior polo match, showcasing emerging talent and underscoring Windsor’s dedication to mentorship and the future of the sport. The tournament featured teams representing Canada and the United States, with Team Jr. USA claiming the victory and Pablito Falabella earning MVP honors.
Off the field, guests enjoyed an elegant fieldside luncheon and Windsor’s signature themed tailgate competition, with tailgates transforming the grounds into stylish displays. This year’s winning tailgate, “That’s Amore” earned top honors for its creativity and presentation. Second place was awarded to “It’s a Wonderful Life” followed by “The Love Boat” in third place. Adding to the festivities, the Space Coast Region of Porsche Club of America presented a People’s Choice Concours featuring more than 40 vehicles ranging from vintage classics to the latest models. During halftime, guests participated in the traditional Divot Stomp and enjoyed a luxury automobile parade before silent auction and raffle winners were announced.
The event’s high-end raffle and silent auction featured luxury jewelry, artwork, apparel, excursions, wine, and exclusive experience packages. Among the standout items were Natural Wonders, the official commemorative poster artwork created by acclaimed collage artist Derek Gores, and a custom Jane Win Necklace Trio valued at $10,000.
