The Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation presents its 15th Annual Poetry & BBQ- In a Southerly Light… Revisited Sat. Mar. 28 at 3:00 p.m. A tribute to the inaugural poetry & BBQ featuring the inaugural poets, Silvia Curbelo, Michael Hettich, and Sean Sexton. Held at The Richardson Center at IRSC Mueller Campus. Ticketed.

Environmental Learning Center offers a Sound Bath on Mar. 29 at 2:00 p.m. Join Micaela Deegan and step into a moment where the outside world softens, inviting your whole system into calm presence. You’ll be gently held in soothing soundscapes designed to restore balance to the mind, body, and nervous system.

Vero Beach Opera offers Mozart’s The Impresario “presents” Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana Mar. 29 at 3:00 p.m. Who’s the biggest DIVA of them all? Find out as we put an unexpected “twist” on Mozart’s already hilarious one-act comedy AND watch as we masterfully spin directly into Mascagni’s breathtaking one-act tragedy. Held at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center. 

Environmental Learning Center offers Spring Break Camp Mar. 30 & 31 at 9:00 a.m. Join us for engaging single-day camps at the Environmental Learning Center, where children will enjoy hands-on outdoor exploration, nature-based activities, and discovery throughout our campus and the Indian River Lagoon. Children may register for one day or both days. Ages 6-12

Riverside Theatre presents Distinguished Lecturer Series Mar. 30, 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. featuring Kevin O’Leary, Canadian businessman and TV personality.

Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation offers Historic House Tours Tuesday 1-5 p.m. Mar. 31 (Each Tues. to the end of April 2026).  See how the noted poet and author lived in her “cracker” architecture-styled house during a docent led tour at the Indian River State College Mueller Campus in Vero Beach.

Unity Spiritual Center of Vero Beach presents The OM Circle Tues. Artists Guild Gallery presents Exhibit for March Guest Artist John Streeter.  John’s fabulous pastels are known for their depth and color. His florals and landscapes are favorites among his collectors. On display throughout the month of March. 

Environmental Learning Center offers Wild Wednesdays Apr. 1 at 3:00 p.m. Join at the F.U.N. Zone Nature Playscape (Families Unplugged in Nature). Designed with homeschool families in mind, this is a chance for kids and parents to unplug, connect with others, and enjoy all the outdoor spaces the ELC has to offer.

MusicWorks Concerts presents Good Vibrations: A Celebration of the Beach Boys Thu, Apr. 2 at 7:00 p.m. This tribute band celebrates the legacy and spirit of the legendary California icons by recreating all of their classic music and timeless sounds of summer. This is a party guaranteed to have the audience on their feet dancing and singing along to the greatest hits of some of the most beloved music of all time. Held at the Emerson Center. 

Artists Guild Gallery presents Exhibit for April Guest Artist Ocean Surf Photographer Peter Jordan.  Peter is a painterly photographer unsurpassed in his field.  The images he creates with his camera flow as if painted by a master artist with calculated brush strokes. Artist reception during First Friday Gallery Stroll Apr. 3, 5:00 p.m.

Center for Spiritual Care presents Timothy Sanchez. His New Works Exhibition will be showing at the Center through April 30. Timothy Sanchez, First Friday Celebration Fri, Apr 3, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Gallery 14 presents Aloft: Aerial Kite Photography by Evan Reinheimer, guest artist to April 24. He is an award-winning artist from New York and specializes in a photographic technique wherein kites are used to lift a camera to capture aerial photographs unveiling a fresh perspective on the world unseen before. First Friday Artwalk featuring Evan’s work Apr. 3 beginning at 5:00 p.m.

The Community Church offers Good Friday at The Community Church of Vero Beach Apr. 3 at 7:00 p.m. Each year The Community Church of Vero Beach presents a choral work as a somber close to the events of Holy Week before the triumphant rise of Easter morning. Featuring Good Friday Choir, Orchestra, and Soloists, all are invited to share in this reflective service of music. Suggested offering.

Environmental Learning Center offers Little Wonders on April 4 at 10:00 & 11:30 a.m. An engaging outdoor nature enrichment and early literacy program for children 18 months to 4 years old. Participate in Interactive Story Time, Outdoor Mud Kitchen, Pond Exploration, and Nature Crafts.

Christ By The Sea presents Easter Cantata Apr. 4 at 4:30 and 7:00 p.m. Join us to experience the Passion and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ set to a full musical production with a mixed choir, full orchestra, liturgical dancers, dramatic scenes, and uplifting narration! Featuring opera singers and musicians from Florida and other states. Free will offering appreciated.

Riverside Theatre presents Almost, Maine through Apr. 12 times vary.  On a cold and enchanted winter night, the people of the town of Almost experience the life-altering power of the human heart. John Cariani’s Almost, Maine is a series of loosely connected tales about love and longing, each with a compelling couple, and each with its own touch of magic propelled by the mystical energy of the aurora borealis.

The Cave Gallery of Art presents Introspections – Artwork by Barry Shapiro exhibiting to April 15.

Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County is on exhibit in the Indian River County Administration Buildings A and B. “Fun In The Sun” is the theme. This Artist Member Exhibit includes Grace Cormier, Tony Caruso, Stuart Duvall and Janet Grossarth. On view to April 20.

Vero Beach Museum of Art celebrates our Nation’s 250th year with American Made: Paintings and Sculpture from the DeMell Jacobsen Collection to June 7. This is an exhibition of more than 80 works by renowned American artists, including Benjamin West, Sarah Miriam Peale, Edward Moran, John Singer Sargent, Mary Cassatt, Robert Henri, and Charles Alston. The exhibit spans 250 years, with an emphasis on the 19th and 20th centuries.
