With just two weeks to go, excitement is building for the annual Jackie Robinson Celebration Game, taking place on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Holman Stadium at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex.

This year’s game will feature the Jupiter Hammerheads taking on the Palm Beach Frozen Iguanas in a special Jackie Robinson Day matchup that brings the community together for an evening of baseball, history, and impact.

Tickets are available now for $12 in advance and $15 at the gate (credit card only on game day). Children ages 3 and under are admitted free. Fans are encouraged to purchase early as this popular event is expected to draw a strong crowd.

Tickets can be purchased online at UnitedWayIRC.org, in person at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex Registration Office on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM, or Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM at the United Way Center in downtown Vero Beach (cash only).

“The Jackie Robinson Celebration Game is such a meaningful opportunity for our community to come together,” said Meredith Egan, CEO of United Way of Indian River County. “While we honor Jackie Robinson’s legacy, we’re also creating real impact right here at home. Every ticket sold helps support programs that strengthen local families and ensure our community continues to thrive.”

Fans can enjoy an evening of baseball along with on-field entertainment between innings and a lively game day atmosphere. Concessions will be available throughout the event.

The Jackie Robinson Celebration Game honors the historic legacy of Jackie Robinson, who broke Major League Baseball’s color barrier on April 15, 1947.

Proceeds from the event support United Way’s local initiatives, including access to free legal services, disaster recovery efforts, and free tax preparation for local families. Additionally, United Way supports 48 programs and services at 36 partner agencies benefiting 1 in 4 across Indian River County.

“The Jackie Robinson Training Complex is proud to host this special event each year,” said Rachelle Madrigal, Vice Presidents of the Jackie Robinson Training Complex. “It’s an opportunity to celebrate history while creating a memorable experience for fans and supporting important work happening in our community.”

The Palm Beach Cardinals, the Class-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, will take the field as the Palm Beach Frozen Iguanas as part of a special 2026 promotional series celebrating their South Florida roots. Fans can expect unique team branding and merchandise at the game.

The Jackie Robinson Celebration game is made possible by the generous support of Presenting Sponsors Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Groups of Shambo, Schwibner, Schwartz and Morgan Petersen Rinchack.
