Main Street Vero Beach announces the March guest artist at the MSVB Studios. Mr. Donald Schuster’s art will  be up from March 1st at the Historic Downtown Vero Beach First Friday Gallery Stroll until the end of March. Gallery hours follow MSVB office hours.

Although dabbling in art for some time, in more recent years Donald Schuster has become decidedly serious in his approach to art, and has spent a great deal of his time immersing himself in the study of painting. An award-winning artist and photographer, Donald uses his photographic images as subject matter, rendering his works exquisite in composition and completely original.On moving to Sebastian, Florida from New Jersey with his wife Karen in 2008, he quickly integrated himself into the art community on the Treasure Coast, joining the Sebastian River Art Club and the Vero Beach Art Club. Donald has entered most of the clubs’ shows, and volunteers at numerous art club events. He has taken workshops with Dorothy Starbuck, and continues to enrich his skills with intensive self-study through books, internet, videos, and careful observation of the natural world.Donald has developed a keen appreciation of others’ work, and is always looking for new techniques and approaches to his art. Living on a canal where wildlife abounds has been one of the things that drives him to the brush and the camera.  “Nature,” says Donald “has been the inspiration for much of my work. I get a sense of peace and accomplishment while painting an image from nature that no other activity can provide.”
