Historic Dodgertown kicks off fourth annual Presidents’ Day Challenge Tournament

Dodgertown LogoHistoric Dodgertown will host its fourth annual Treasure Coast Presidents’ Day Challenge youth baseball tournament this weekend. The February 15-17 tournament will include 59 teams, separated into 12U, 13U, 14U, 16U and 18U age divisions.
Registration and check-in will be held on Friday, February 14, and games begin Saturday, February 15 at 8 a.m. The tournament schedule and daily results will be available at http://www.HistoricDodgertown.com on the Presidents’ Day Tournament page.
The tournament, sponsored by the Treasure Coast Sports Commission and Florida Sports Foundation, features a strong representation of northern states, including Minnesota with seventeen teams. Other states with large contingents include Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Illinois and Canada. Rounding out the brackets includes teams from Wisconsin, Florida and Massachusetts.
Games will be held at the 80-acre Historic Dodgertown and Lakewood Regional Park in Ft. Pierce. All games are open to the public and admission is $10 for an all-tournament pass, or $5 per person, per day.
