CoppageVELMA COPPAGE, 81, went to be with her Lord on August 6, 2014 at. She was the beloved wife of Rev. Raymond Coppage for 59 years and loving mother of her children and grandchildren. She was born to Eston and Nina Milton on December 13, 1932 in Quitman, GA. Velma was a beloved pastor’s wife and loved by all as she ministered and loved others. She was the church secretary at King’s Baptist Church for 20 plus years. She was very involved in the women’s mission groups at King’s Baptist. Her great love was teaching preschoolers in Sunday school.

She is survived by her children, Debbie (Richard) Gaffney and Ray (Carol) Coppage both of Vero Beach, FL, Jennie (Randy) Berry of Dahlonega, GA, and Ruth (Kevin) Ross of Auburn, AL; brother, Alton Milton of Quitman, GA., 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Rev. Raymond Coppage, brothers Glenn and Leroy Milton; grandson, Andrew “Andy” Ross and great grandson Dorian Gaffney.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach and funeral services on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Strunk Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach. Strunk Funeral Home (8/7/14)

 

HENRY ADOLPHUS, 75, of Vero Beach, passed away on Monday July 28, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center.He was born on March 27, 1939 in Clarendon, Jamaica and has been a resident of Indian River County since 1987. Henry retired from the Windsor Properties. He was a member of Grant Church of God in Jamaica where he served as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and Musician.  He loved playing the guitar. Henry enjoyed farming, music and cooking.

Henry survivors include his sons, Paul Maxwell, Percival Maxwell of Detroit, MI; daughters, Clovia Maxwell of Brandon, FL; Mulvina Maxwell of Vero Beach, FL; Tracy Maxwell of Detroit, MI; brothers, Benjamin Maxwell of Jamaica; sisters, Rachel Willis, Burnetta Edwards, Noami Faulknor, Gwendolyn McLeod, Dora Gayle, and Madgeline Moore all of Jamaica, twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anita Brown and Norman Maxwell, and brother, Walva Maxwell.

Visitation will be held 4-7pm, Friday, August 8 and a funeral service to be held 1:30pm, Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel, Vero Beach, Florida. Burial will immediate following services at Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach. Stone Brothers Funeral Home (8/7/14)
