ONGOING THIS WEEK

Vero Beach artist, Carol Makris, is exhibiting her detailed, acrylic paintings at The Artist’s Guild Gallery, 1974 14th Avenue in Vero Beach during the month of November. Her realist style (at left) shows an ornamental flair and an appreciation for nature and fantasy. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday 11 am – 3 pm.

Tuesday, November 10

Bill Belleville presents “Celebrating the Wild Side of Florida: Portals into Nature, Culture, and Sense of Place” on Tuesday, November 10th at 2 p.m. in the North Indian River County Library followed by the Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Library. Refreshments will be served. Free.

The Center for Spiritual Care is holding its Third Annual Benefit Luncheon at Carrabba’s on US 1 in Vero Beach on Tuesday, November 10th from noon to 1:30 pm. Tickets are $30 per person or a table for 4 for $100 or table for six for $150. Call 772-567-1233. Continue reading…
