weekend - Howl at the MoonHOWL AT THE MOON AT RIVERSIDE THEATRE  – Riverside Theatre presents the next entertaining series of events – Howl at The Moon Experience on Friday & Saturday, June 24 & 25.  More than just dueling pianos, Howl at The Moon Experience is a high-energy music show like no other. Sing, dance, and, yes, even howl as the most versatile and talented musicians perform favorite songs from 80’s rock, 90’s pop, and today’s dance hits on dueling pianos. These highly energetic and entertaining shows make for a fun-filled and memorable night!  Every show is different because there is no set agenda or playlist as the audience helps select the songs to create the unique music party experience. Each Howl at The Moon will showcase different, talented musicians at every Howl weekend.  Starting June 24th and 25th, Howl at The Moon Experience will alternate with Comedy Zone Experiences to showcase professional entertainment every weekend, on the Waxlax Stage, all summer long! Similar to Comedy Zone Experiences, free live music featuring local bands will play the Live In The Loop Outdoor Stage prior to each Howl at The Moon performance at 7:30 and 9:30 pm.  Tickets are $16, $18, $20, $22 and can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 772-231-6990 or online at www.riversidetheatre.com

 

FRIDAY, JUNE 24

weekend - DF BandDOWNTOWN FRIDAY THIS WEEKEND – Main Street Vero Beach presents Downtown Friday on June 24 from 6 to 9 pm on 14th Avenue.  Live music will be performed by Dave Scott & The Reckless Shots.  There will be food & drink, vendor booths and childrens activities. Colonel Tony Young, President of The Veterans Council of Indian River County, will be presenting The Vietnam Veterans Color Guard, a salute to our Armed Services and more.  Free.

weekend - A man waves the flag at a Space Coast Symphony patriotic concertIndian River County residents are encouraged to don red, white & blue and wave the flag during the Space Coast Symphony Wind Orchestra’s free patriotic concert, Land, Air & Sea: An Armed Forces Tribute. The concert will be performed at 7:00 PM on Friday, June 24 at First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach, located at 520 Royal Palm Boulevard.  Presented in conjunction with the Space Coast Symphony Chorus, Land, Air & Sea: An Armed Forces Tribute will showcase our national heritage as conductor and artistic director Aaron T. Collins directs the wind orchestra with music by John Williams, Richard Rodgers, Lee Greenwood, and marches from “The March King,” John Philip Sousa.  The concert will open with an extended version of the “Star Spangled Banner.”  The women of the Space Coast Symphony Chorus will perform several works with the ensemble, including “God Bless the USA” and “Hymn to the Fallen” from the film, Saving Private Ryan.  Among the many rousing patriotic numbers will be a salute to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces.  Tickets are required for the free concert and can be reserved online at www.SpaceCoastSymphony.org.  For more information, call toll free to 855-252-7276.

 SATURDAY & SUNDAY, JUNE 25 & 26

weekend - cmykl-air showVERO BEACH AIR SHOW – The 2016 Vero Beach Air Show will be held at Vero Beach Regional Airport on Saturday & Sunday June 25 & 26 from noon to 4 pm. Gates open early, and there will be fun for the whole family before the show starts at noon. On Saturday night, from 5 pm to 9 pm attend the Vero Beach Air Show Food Fest at Riverside Park with free admission, featuring thirty food trucks with a tantalizing variety of good things to eat and drink for sale. Enjoy live music by Collins and Company, a bounce house ($5) and a coloring station for the kids, and fun for the entire family. SUNDAY, JUNE 26

weekend - WEB_From Sea to Shining Sea Cast 2016A renewed sense of true American spirit can be found by experiencing the newest Theatre-Go-Round Dinner Theatre production “From Sea to Shining Sea” which offers up a patriotic musical parade across the American Songbook Sunday, June 26 at the Quilted Giraffe Restaurant, 500 South U.S. 1 in Vero Beach.  This red, white and blue musical revue features over 50 songs about our 50 states and their world renowned cities. “Route 66,” “North to Alaska,” “Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride,” “Battle of New Orleans,” “Rocky Top” and “Carolina Moon” are just a few of the classics that the TGR six member cast will bring directly to your table on selected Sundays through September. TGR performers Beth McKenzie-Shestak, Shamara Turner, Caitlin Harris, Gregory Harris, Brendan Wenger welcome newcomer Shane Frampton to round out the cast.
