NEW EXHIBIT AT FOYER GALLERY OF ART
The Foyer Gallery of Art located at the Emerson Center/Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach presents still life paintings by artist Aksel Sand Pederson. Visit the Gallery and meet the artist on Thursday, November 10 from 5 to 7 pm just before the Humanities Series Lecture. This exhibit is on view through December. The Foyer Gallery of Art is open Monday through from 10 am to 4 pm and on Sundays from 10 am to 1 pm.

The Military Moms Prayer Group’s 11th Annual Holidays for Heroes program is underway to help our troops deployed for the holidays. Now through December 15, pick up a special Mailing Kit to fill with goodies for our troops. Each kit contains a flat-rate box, a customs form, an address of a deployed soldier, sailor, airman, or marine, and an idea list of items to send in the package. The Vero Beach Choral Society in collaboration with the Vero Beach High School Philharmonic Orchestra will be “Going for Baroque” on Sunday, November 13 at 4 pm at Community Church of Vero Beach. The concert will feature Vivaldi’s “Gloria,” along with works by Bach, Handel and more. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door, and $5 with a student ID.
The Treasure Coast Chorale will perform it is Holiday Concert on Sunday, November 13th at 7 pm at First Baptist Church, 2206 16th Avenue in Vero Beach. Included in the concert are traditional carols as well as a medley of songs in swing time by “The Dolls”. This concert offers free admission, however, the audience will be asked to give a generous offering.
