Cultural Calendar


Art Mundo’s largest fundraiser of the year and biggest party – Calendart 2017 – will be held Thursday, December 1 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Sunrise Black Box Theatre. 2016 will be the 7th year Art Mundo has created these unique, one-of-a-kind calendars with original work by our area’s very talented artists. These calendars are collectors items and only 12 of them will be available for 2017. One Calendart calendar will be awarded by raffle. There will also be an exhibit of other original work by the Calendart artists and live music by the Fort Pierce Jazz and Blues Society, a light hors d’oeuvres buffet and a cash bar. Calendart Gala tickets are $50 per person or 3 tickets for $100. Each gala ticket includes entry for one person to the evening’s festivities and one raffle ticket. Visit to purchase tickets.

MusicWorks, Inc. and Live! From Vero Beach present the California Guitar Holiday Show at the Vero Beach Theatre Guild on Friday, December 2 at 7 p.m. Masters of classical compositions and classic rock, surf guitar and sonic experimentation, California Guitar Trio trims your tree with holiday standards from around the world. Christmas Boat Parade will be held on Friday, December 2 on the Indian River Lagoon between the Merrill Barber and Alma Lee Loy bridges beginning at 6:30 pm.

The First Friday Gallery Stroll will be held on Friday, December 2 from 5 to 8 pm in the Downtown Arts District with all new exhibits.

The Center for Spiritual Care, 1550 24 Street, presents ”Noticing,” an exhibit of works by several local artists with an Opening Reception on Friday, December 2 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.



Sunrise Rotary and the Oceanside Business Association will hold the Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 3 on Ocean Drive beginning at 6 pm.

The Space Coast Symphony will present the Ninth Annual Messiah Sing Along on Saturday, December 3 at 7 pm at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center. Free.

The City of Sebastian is holding its 28th Annual Light Up Night on Friday, December 2 from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm at Various Businesses in Sebastian & Roseland. Visit for locations.

The Village Market Place will be held on Saturday, December 3 from 10 am to 4 pm at Rosewood Artisan Boutiques, 1443 19th Place in Vero Beach.

Christmas Tree Lane, the annual Holiday Bazaar & Cookie Sale at the First Presbyterian Church, will be held on Saturday, December. 3, from 9 am to 2 pm, at 520 Royal Palm Boulevard, Vero Beach.



The Vero Beach Museum of Art is holding “Holidays at the Museum” on Sunday, December 4 from 1 to 4 pm. Families and kids get to meet Santa and enjoy festive activities at this free program.

The American Association of University Women will hold a Holiday Party & Bell Choir Concert on Sunday, December 4 from 3 to 5 pm at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2555 58th Avenue in Vero Beach. Free.

The Vero Beach Art Club Members will exhibit a variety of styles and mediums at Humiston Park on Sunday, December 4 from 10 am to 4 pm.

A free showing of the movie The Sound of Music on Sunday, December 4, at 2 pm at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center to benefit the VBHS Orchestra’s performance tour of Austria. Donations will be gratefully accepted.
