Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach will present a Reformation Hymn Festival on Sunday, October 22 at 4 pm. This free event will feature the choirs of Our Savior Lutheran Church and Advent Lutheran Church and will allow audience participation in the singing of favorite hymns dating back hundreds of years. “It don’t mean a thing, if it ain’t got that swing.” The popular song lyric sums up the mindset of concert-goers to Big Band Favorites, the latest concert offering by the Space Coast Symphony JAZZ Orchestra. The group will swing three decades of Big Band Era hits at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 22 at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center. The JAZZ Orchestra’s play list will feature selections from Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Duke Ellington and more. Jazz vocalist and recording artist, Lisa Kelly will join the group to sing Big Band Favorites. $20 advance tickets are available at www.SpaceCoastSymphony.org. $25 at the door.
