NEWS RELEASE 

A free hearing health seminar on Wednesday, January 31 from 9:00am to noon will take place in the Medical Education Classrooms at Indian River Medical Center. The seminar is sponsored by IRMC, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, and Florida Telecommunications Relay, Inc. (FTRI) and free for community members to attend.

Topics will include Communication Strategies, Living with Hearing Loss, Florida’s Free Phones on Loan Program, Hearing Aids: Realistic Expectations and Myths, and how IRMC is providing for the needs of patients with hearing loss.

This is a Public Information Seminar and there will no sales of any kind. All presentations will be captioned using CART, courtesy of FTRI. Sign language interpreting is available upon request in advance. Continental breakfast will be provided and reservations are required.
