Videographers needed to work on project for City’s centennial celebration

City Council member Tony Young and City Clerk Tammy Bursick are co-chairing one of the most memorable events in our city’s history by coordinating all the plans centered around the Vero Beach Centennial Celebration.  Multiple activities will be presented on a monthly calendar presented via a myriad of local organizations starting in October of 2018 through October 2019.

The committee includes many people and organizations in the community who are actively working on special recognitions and remembrances of our city history, ancestors, landmarks and special events.

While the committee has a number of still photographers who have come forward to offer their assistance along the way, they are always welcoming others who may wish to help on a volunteer basis.  Additionally, in order to archive the celebration year and promote it in the best way possible, the committee is seeking local videographers who wish to partake in any of the events.

Still photographers and videographers interested in participating in this capacity on a pro-bono basis should email Ms. Bursick at or Publicist Beverly Paris at . The website will become active in early March and can be visited at
