The final concert of the Indian River Symphonic Association’s 2018 season features the Brevard Symphony Orchestra performing one of the most glorious concertos ever written, Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto. This final program also includes the monumental and lyrical Fifth Symphony of Prokofiev, as well as the dramatic and beautiful work memorializing an event of World War II, Memorial to Lidice. The featured soloist for the clarinet concerto is the critically acclaimed Bharat Chandra who has been thrilling audiences throughout the world from Vienna to Australia with his stunning virtuosity. He is currently the Principal Clarinet of both the Sarasota Orchestra here in Florida and the Nordic Symphony Orchestra in Estonia. This is a concert not to be missed since it promises to be one of the more musically exciting performances of the Vero Beach season.
