Indian River County Sheriff’s Office Accreditation Manager Michelle Sirois was recently selected to participate in an invitation-only Team Leader training class designed to prepare accreditation assessors for the Team Leader role for the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation. Sirois was also selected to participate in the Comparative Compliance Work Group, designed to rewrite the manual for comparative compliance with the nationally recognized Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
Indian River County Sheriff Deryl Loar stated, “As a quadruple crown accredited agency, we are proud of the work our accreditation team does to assure the public and other agencies that we are in compliance with the highest standards in corrections and law enforcement.
