SELLER TO CELLAR AT THE HERITAGE CENTER

On Friday August 17, Vero Heritage Inc. welcomes Bob & Bob, hosts of the popular wine TV show, Seller to Cellar. This will be the final reunion of their highly popular show, with a spectacular grand tasting to follow.  Limited VIP entrance, beginning at 5:45 pm, includes a welcome glass of bubbly, seating for the live recording, a guided wine-tasting during the show’s segments, and priority access to the Grand Tasting. VIP admission is $75.  General admission, beginning at 7:15 pm is $50 which allows entry in to the Grand Tasting. Featured in the Grand Tasting will be several distributors offering about 60 wines, plus unique selections from the Seller to Cellar private collection.  Rounding out the festivities, James Broxton and the Essence of Sound band will provide jazz throughout the evening.  Tickets are available at the Heritage Center and can also be purchased on line at Eventbrite.com.

AUGUST ART WALK IN FORT PIERCE

The  August Art Walk in Fort Pierce will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, August 17.  Seriously Mixed Media, 207 Orange Avenue is participating in Sailfish Brewing Company’s 2nd Annual “CANS for a cause” to support the Treasure Coast Food Bank. Bring your canned goods to Seriously Mixed Media anytime during their open hours and to the August 17th ArtWalk. NEW SPOIL ISLAND SPLASH AT ELC

Go island hopping for a few hours! Every 3rd Saturday of the month,  (August 18 from 9:30 – 11:30 am) the Environmental Learning Center’s Pontoon Boat, Discover, will take passengers to a spoil island in the lagoon. Help send the Vero Beach High School Band To London!

Vero Beach High School Marching Band has been invited by Lord Mayor of London, to march in their New Year’s Day Parade, in London, England. plans to perform in London.  There will be a fundraising event for the band on August 19 at 2:00 P.M. at Vero Beach Veteran’s Inc. 2500 15th Avenue in Vero Beach.  This event is open to the public, with only a $10 donation at the door, which includes a luncheon of BBQ Pork, Chicken, Beef, Cole slaw, Baked Beans, with roll and desert, as well as a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle.  Musical entertainment will be provided by, renowned local musician, Kent Taylor Brown.  For advance tickets, call Winnie Scalley, at 772-532-9087.

SINATRA DONE DIFFERENTLY

The Theatre-Go-Round Dinner Theatre presents Sinatra Done Differently on Sunday, August 19 with doors opening at 4:30 for dinner and the show begins at 6 pm at the Quilted Giraffe Restaurant.  Thirty-two Sinatra hits including  Sentimental Journey, Old Devil Moon,  Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered,  Luck be a Lady Tonight, My Way, My Funny Valentine and The Lady is a Tramp will be performed.  Enjoy a gourmet dinner and the show for $65 per person.  Call the box office at 772-252-9341 for reservations.

The Sunrise Theatre in Fort Pierce is offering a free Summertime Movie on Sunday, August 19 at 3:00 pm.  Beauty And The Beast, starring Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evan is this week’s selection.  Tickets are available in person only at the theatre’s box office located at 117 South Second Street, Ft.
