SELLER TO CELLAR AT THE HERITAGE CENTER
On Friday August 17, Vero Heritage Inc. welcomes Bob & Bob, hosts of the popular wine TV show, Seller to Cellar. This will be the final reunion of their highly popular show, with a spectacular grand tasting to follow. Limited VIP entrance, beginning at 5:45 pm, includes a welcome glass of bubbly, seating for the live recording, a guided wine-tasting during the show’s segments, and priority access to the Grand Tasting. VIP admission is $75. General admission, beginning at 7:15 pm is $50 which allows entry in to the Grand Tasting. Featured in the Grand Tasting will be several distributors offering about 60 wines, plus unique selections from the Seller to Cellar private collection. Rounding out the festivities, James Broxton and the Essence of Sound band will provide jazz throughout the evening. AUGUST ART WALK IN FORT PIERCE
The August Art Walk in Fort Pierce will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, August 17. Seriously Mixed Media, 207 Orange Avenue is participating in Sailfish Brewing Company’s 2nd Annual “CANS for a cause” to support the Treasure Coast Food Bank. NEW SPOIL ISLAND SPLASH AT ELC
Go island hopping for a few hours! Every 3rd Saturday of the month, (August 18 from 9:30 – 11:30 am) the Environmental Learning Center’s Pontoon Boat, Discover, will take passengers to a spoil island in the lagoon. Explore our spoil island for shells, wade in the waters, watch the wildlife and enjoy the untouched beauty of a small island ecosystem. Help send the Vero Beach High School Band To London!
Vero Beach High School Marching Band has been invited by Lord Mayor of London, to march in their New Year’s Day Parade, in London, England. plans to perform in London. There will be a fundraising event for the band on August 19 at 2:00 P.M. at Vero Beach Veteran’s Inc. 2500 15th Avenue in Vero Beach. This event is open to the public, with only a $10 donation at the door, which includes a luncheon of BBQ Pork, Chicken, Beef, Cole slaw, Baked Beans, with roll and desert, as well as a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle. SINATRA DONE DIFFERENTLY
The Theatre-Go-Round Dinner Theatre presents Sinatra Done Differently on Sunday, August 19 with doors opening at 4:30 for dinner and the show begins at 6 pm at the Quilted Giraffe Restaurant.
