Dinner Theatre moves ocean side

NEWS RELEASE

Interior of the Dinner Theatre.

Theatre-Go-Round is moving to perhaps their most ideal location to date. Celebrating their 11 year existence in Vero Beach, the dinner theatre business is partnering with Costa d’Este Beach Resort and Spa at 3244 Ocean Drive and will re-open in their new location on Sunday, February 10 with True Colors of the ’80s!

The professional entertainment company began in 2007 when they partnered with the Best Western Hotel on State Road 60 and performed productions there before moving to 34th Avenue near the airport. It was during this time that the talented group became a household word around town and when building was sold, the troupe moved their operation into the banquet hall at the Elks’ Lodge for a season. The following year they were invited to join with Joey’s on the Miracle Mile and spent a summer performing to sell out houses.

Having garnered a fine dining reputation along with presenting original musical revues in a restaurant setting, TGR is anxious to return to an elegant atmosphere paired with quality food prepared to order.  Theatre-Go-Round has found that ideal situation once again at the Costa d’Este Beach Resort and Spa.

In cooperation with Amanda Aucoin, Director of Sales and Marketing, Ashley Neese, Director of Food and Beverage, and Executive Chef Armando Galeas, Theatre-Go-Round is pleased to once again offer a sit down gourmet dinner with full cocktail and beverage service available tableside. The three course gourmet dinner theatre package features herb crusted prime rib with red roasted potatoes, green beans and baby carrots. Fresh seafood of the day, chicken breast, vegetarian and vegan dishes are available if ordered at the time of making reservations. An appetizer of house greens with garden vegetables and key lime tort for desert round out the menu.

The opening show at the new location, True Colors of the ’80s is a remake of the musical that was previously performed at The Plaza featuring the solid gold hits from the 1980s such as Karma Chameleon, Girls Just Want To Have Fun, True Colors, Fame and Heaven is a Place On Earth to name a few. Performed by TGR company members, under the direction of Jon Putzke, Artistic Producer include Beth McKenzie-Shestak, Choreographer, Gregory Harris, Vocal Director, Caitlin Harris and Brendan Wenger. Performances will continue to run every Sunday, February 10 through March 17 and opening March 24 and playing through May 5 will be the all new musical sensation The Best of ABBA. There will be no performance on Easter Sunday.

The dinner theatre package remains $65 per person and includes dinner, show ticket, tax and gratuity. Valet parking is available for an additional $5 per car payable upon arrival. Reservations are required with a Visa, Discover or MasterCard by phoning the Theatre-Go-Round box office at 772-252-9341. A complete menu and further information is available at theatregorounddinnertheatre.com.
