Introduction to Genealogy classes will be offered at the Indian River County Main Library, 1600 21st Street, Vero Beach. The class is FREE to the public, but you must sign up at least 3 days before the first class.

SPEAKER PROGRAM
The Indian River Genealogical Society is pleased to announce Crista Cowan as our program speaker at our regular monthly meeting on Tuesday March 12, 2019. She will be speaking at the Indian River County Main Library, 1600 21st St, Vero Beach. The business meeting convenes at 10AM, followed by light refreshments and the program. This meeting is free and open to the public.
A professional genealogist since 2002, Crista Cowan has been employed by Ancestry.com since 2004. For the past several years she has been the Corporate Genealogist and speaks frequently at local and national genealogy events around the country. Known online as The Barefoot Genealogist, she has a weekly show on the Ancestry You Tube channel designed to help people discover their family history.
Her topic will be; “Getting the Most Out of Ancestry” – learn about the tools and records available on Ancestry.com for researching your family history and get updated on what is new in Ancestry.
