Two great events –  merged for charity

The Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo have merged to become “The Derby de Mayo” for one night to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Societies’ Man of the Year nominee Raul Storey, MD from Florida Cancer Specialist and Research Center. Derby de Mayo will be held at Costa d’Este on May 2, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Come out and cheer on Dr. Storey, enjoy Derby and Mexican delights, sip, savor and dance! There will be raffles, prizes and more. Tickets for this VIP event are $150 per person and are tax deductible. 21st Century Oncology supports the work Dr. Storey is doing on behalf of the Leukemia & Lymphoma and is offering two (2) iHeart Radio advertising packages valued at $2,000 to help raise funds for the L&LS. The silent auction will close at 8:30 p.m. and Dr. Storey will discuss new advances and breakthroughs possible because of fundraisers like this, which enables the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to continue lifesaving research.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was founded in 1949 and has invested nearly $1.3 billion in groundbreaking research, pioneering many of today’s most innovative approaches. The nonprofit is dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other blood cancers and ensures patients have access to lifesaving treatments by providing hope, compassion, education and support.
