ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT
The Israel Scouts Friendship Caravan 2019 will perform at Temple Beth Shalom, 365 43rd Avenue, Vero Beach, at 7:00 pm on Saturday, June 8. The Friendship Caravan is a group of highly talented Israeli youth, part of a larger delegation of Israel Scouts who, each summer, represent Israel in camps and communities across North America. Their performance is an energetic and patriotic display of goodwill and friendship between countries. Performing songs in both Hebrew and English, the Scouts bring smiles to the faces of audiences of all ages, cultures and religions. Their joy and optimism are contagious.
This year’s Friendship Caravan is comprised of ten incredibly motivated and capable Israeli students, ages 16 and 17, and two adult leaders. The troupe is part of the International Scouting Movement and is a sister organization of the Boy and Girl Scouts of America. They will perform at churches, schools, summer camps, community centers, synagogues, senior centers and hospitals throughout the summer months. In addition to their lively show, the Caravan members enjoy speaking with their American audiences about life in Israel and discussing what it is like to be an Israeli teenager. There will be a reception with light refreshments following the performance. Audience members will have the opportunity to personally meet and interact with the visiting delegation.
Join in the fun at the Israel Scouts Friendship Caravan performance on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Temple Beth Shalom, 365 43rd Avenue, in Vero Beach.
