Combine science, arts and culture and feel more connected to your natural environment! These hour-and-a-half long workshops will explore the trails, waterways and facilities of the ELC to give children ages 7 to 12 hands-on opportunities to interact with their local ecosystems, resulting in a project children can take home. $10 per workshop.

Walking Shorebird Puppets

Shorebird physical adaptations and movements are essential to catching their next meal. In this puppet workshop, we will work to recreate their hunting style.

Through the assembly of bird-wing gliders, Earth Enthusiasts will explore the difference in wing types and how that helps birds soar, glide and steer.
