Editor’s note: USA Today is again including the Vero Beach Kmart in its list of closings. TCPalm is also carrying the same story (it is owned by USA Today parent, Gannett), as well as the International Business Times. This story is like plotting the track of Hurricane Dorian!
Dates of closures can vary. Most are expected to close in December.

NEWS RELEASE
More Kmart and Sears stores will close by the end of the year.
Weeks after announcing 26 Sears and Kmart locations would close in October, an undisclosed number of additional stores are facing a similar fate in December.

Funny too; as a gal who appeared to be a manager at the K-Mart on U.S. 1 said they had just signed a 5 year lease; so thought it was not closing. Nancy Richards
Knew it was in trouble and shopped there as often as I could. Sad.
Loved the store no might have had the latest of fashions but all except one cashier was nice they gave u free cash and points on purchases . Where could u find capris or a swim suit in the winter time only at K Mary . The employees were friendly always and once u were a regular they would say hi and make small chit chat Snd lines were not over crowded no self checkouts and were helpful unlike Walmart I can’t stand going there . Will miss K Mary it worked for me .
