NEWS RELEASE

For one day only, the Indian River County Clerk of Circuit Court and Comptroller will be holding Operation Green Light to give citizens with overdue court obligations, including traffic tickets, a chance to pay those fees while waiving the additional 40% collection surcharge.
Customers may also be able to have suspended driver licenses reinstated. On Saturday, October 12th, the Clerk’s Office at the Indian River County Courthouse will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to accept payments for these fines for Indian River County cases only. The Courthouse is located at 2000 16th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Operation Green Light will give some citizens the opportunity to restore their driving privileges while saving 40% of what is due. For example, the savings on an overdue $206 ticket for going 10-15 mph over the speed limit is $82.40. Payments must be made in full and in person with cash, cashier’s check, money order or a major credit card. Customers paying with a credit card will be charged a convenience fee of 3.5%. Although the 40% collection surcharge will be waived, late fees and interest will still apply.
