“Keeping the Arts Alive, a fine art show featuring artists from Florida and beyond will be held at Raw Space Gallery from November 6th through November 29th, presented by Judy Burgarella, Camy De Mario and Beth Siebert.
The mission of Keeping the Arts Alive, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is to help restart the arts and culture in our community which had been so diminished due to Covid-19. With this ambitious effort we hope to give back to the community, help artists show and sell their work, support a deserving charity (Little Birthday Angels for November) and pay tribute to those who have helped get us through this pandemic—our First Responders, Medical heroes, our Military and Civic Leaders.
Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony for this “Out-of-the-Box” show, which is free and open to the public, is Friday November 6th, during Downtown Vero Beach’s Gallery Stroll, 5:00pm to 8:00pm, at Raw Space Gallery, 1795 Old Dixie Highway, Vero Beach.
The gallery will be filled with artworks of all mediums and sizes—priced for every pocketbook (Think Christmas!). There will be 23 different events throughout November free and open to the public– art classes and demonstrations, lectures, poetry readings, music, refreshments, Christmas celebrations, tributes to our heroes, and even a “Friday the 13th” nigh. Masks and sanitizer will be available for visitors in this large gallery space which easily accommodates social distancing.
