The Mental Health Association of Indian River County (MHA) announced today the resignation of its CEO, Dr. Nicholas Coppola. The MHA thanks Dr. Coppola for his service to the organization and wishes him well in his future endeavors. The Mental Health Association Board has already started the process to fill the position. MHA Board Chair, Ross Cotherman, is leading a search committee that has a clear plan to find the organization’s next leader.
The MHA is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing immediate, affordable access to mental health care for local residents. The MHA Walk-In Center, located at 820 37th Place, in Vero Beach, offers individuals experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition, free mental health screening, crisis intervention services, and information and/or referral about how to address their mental health issues.
