Musical Evangelists Roy & Amy Pauley will be bringing their music ministry to Vero Beach on Saturday, November 6th at 6pm.

Roy and Amy Pauley have devoted their lives to singing and evangelism.  Roy began his music ministry in the late 1950s in Charleston, West Virginia where he was born and raised.  By the mid, 60s his work had spread into surrounding states such as Kentucky, Ohio and Virginia singing for revivals, city-wide crusades, and concert performances.

A bass/baritone soloist, Roy’s singing career was interrupted by a two-year stint in the Army from 1969 to 1971 including a year of duty in Vietnam as a field medic.

Upon his return from military service he immediately resumed his music ministry accepting the position as song evangelist with television program “Faith For Today.”  While serving as song evangelist for an evangelistic series in Ottawa, Ontario in 1974, he met Amy who was the pianist for the church that was having the meetings.  They were married on November 21 of that same year during another crusade in Santa Monica, California.  She not only became his wife, but also became his piano accompanist, and joins him on an occasional vocal duet.

After working with “Faith For Today” until 1975, Roy and Amy moved to Kansas to serve as song evangelists and subsequently to Florida in 1977 to continue their music ministry for the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists until 2004. Since then, they have continued sharing their music on a full-time, self-supported basis traveling from their home in Orlando, Florida.

Over the past several years Roy, who is also an ordained minister, has been a guest soloist at several Bill Gaither concerts and has also been featured on a couple of Gaither’s popular videos – Something Beautiful and Singing With The Saints. 

The concert on November 6^th will be held at the Vero Beach Seventh-day Adventist Church and is open to all. A freewill offering will be collected at intermission. CD’s of Roy & Amy’s music will also be available after the concert.
