Jonathan Edwards is four decades into a stellar career of uncompromising musical integrity. Edwards casually delivers songs filled with passion, insight and humor. You’ll hum to classics such as “Sunshine (Go Away Today),”and “Sometimes in the Morning.”
Livingston “Liv” Taylor is a natural performer, peppering his shows with personal and relaxed storytelling, anecdotes and ineffable warmth. You will enjoy his range of musical genres of folk, pop, jazz and ballads, plus Top 40 hits “I Will Be in Love with You”, “I’ll Come Running,” “I Can Dream of You” and “Boatman,” the last two recorded by his brother James Taylor.

Ballet Vero Beach in “Symphonic Dances” At The VBHS Performing Arts Center Big and bold scores with dancing to match is the theme of the second program of Ballet Vero Beach’ 2021-2022 Season. Gallery 14 presents TropiCollage ~ Derek Gores solo show of all new themed collage art. On view through February 25. Location: 1911 14th Ave, Vero Beach.
Derek Gores is considered part of the Pop Surrealism and New Contemporary movements, this year will mark his fifth season showing at Gallery 14. Gores was honored to exhibit at the Manifest Hope show at the Presidential Inauguration in 2009 and was commissioned by Playboy to create the cover portrait for their Hugh Hefner Tribute Issue.
New works by Tim Sanchez at The Center for Spiritual Care
On view through February 26. The new works are called Reconstructions by Sanchez. “Technically, they’re assemblages,” says Center Director Carol Ludwig, “created from fragments of earlier paintings that he combines with the bravura painting style we associate with Tim. It’s a new way of looking at his work and is very exciting. He’s at the top of his form and more exhilarating than ever.”
The Center for Spiritual Care is located at 1550 24th St. in Vero Beach.

Art in the Park on February 27, 10 am – 4 pm Art in the Park is a Fine Art & Crafts Show put on by the Vero Beach Art Club members. The art exhibited usually includes: Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor and Pastel paintings along with Collage Wall Art, Photography and Digital Art, Sculpture/Glass Works/Wood/ Ceramics, Jewelry and Selected Crafts. Con Brio String Quartet Returns to First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach on February 27, 4 pm.
Con Brio is an internationally acclaimed string quartet comprised of Valentin Mansurov, Marina Lenau, David Pedraza and Aziz Sapaev. Each of these talented, young musicians have received numerous scholarships and competitive awards.

The A.E. Backus Museum & Gallery presents The Highwaymen: Art / History, the latest exhibition in its annual series recognizing the accomplishments of the original artists who made their names selling their paintings on Florida’s open roads. Drawn from private collections with notable paintings never presented to the public, the exhibition is on view through March 3.
Janet Kipp Tribus Shows New Work at The Center for Spiritual Care Gallery Opening March 4, Artist’s Reception 5-7 pm
The joy-filled paintings of Janet Kipp Tribus will be on view March 4 – 28 at the Center for Spiritual Care in Vero Beach. Her exhibition, entitled “Black, White and Red All Over,” will be open by appointment daily between 10 and 4.

5th Anniversary Art Show The Galleries at First Pres
On view through March 31. The show will feature the works of local artists Cy Rochon, Pat Traver & Anne Whitney. The galleries are located throughout the campus of First Presbyterian Church at 520 Royal Palm Boulevard in Vero Beach.
Artists Guild Gallery is a fine-art gallery featuring original art by local artist-owners. Diverse styles and mediums are represented, and the art is changed, and rotated on a monthly basis. McKee Botanical Garden presents Dinosaurs Around the World: The Great Outdoors, through May 1. In this specially constructed outdoor version of the popular Dinosaurs Around the World exhibition, visitors will be whisked back in time on a dinosaur adventure and a tour of an Earth that’s very different from the one we inhabit today.
Travel back to the time before the continents as we know them existed, when arid deserts covered Brazil and polar darkness was the norm in Australia! With advanced animatronics, a multi-layered narrative, cutting-edge research, in an outdoor environment surrounded by nature, you’ll experience the Age of Reptiles brought back to life! Open daily to the public Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday, 12 pm – 5 pm. The last admission ticket is sold at 4 pm and the Children’s Garden closes at 4:30 pm. Vero Beach Museum of Art presents Vero Collects: Hidden Treasures Revealed
The Museum’s third curated collection exhibition, representing more than 50 local collectors and over 100 artworks. On view through May 15. The exhibition is filled with treasures from local collections that are enjoyed in private residences, and now revealed in the public setting of an art museum. The show offers a rare glimpse into artworks seen for the first time at the VBMA, where we can discover major artworks collected in Vero Beach homes. It is a public view into the private world of collecting. A catalogue accompanies the exhibition and is available for purchase in the Museum Store.

LIVE! From Vero Beach Concerts presents Broken Arrow ~ The Music of Neil Young
March 3 at The Emerson Center, 7 pm.
Broken Arrow performs the music of Neil Young, featuring both the rockin’ electric Crazy Horse tunes and the more acoustic, pedal steel driven country rock material. The band delivers these classic songs faithfully while taking them out on some jamming excursions and tastefully tweaking some of the arrangements.
Joe Mass nails the Neil vocals perfectly and the harmonies are spot on. These guys always have audiences on their feet singing along and demanding encores at every show.
Vero Beach Art Club brings the 71st Annual Under The Oaks Fine Arts & Crafts Show, Mar 11, 9 – 5 pm, Mar 12, 9 – 5 pm & Mar 13, 10 – 4 pm to 3280 Riverside Park Drive, Vero Beach. This show gathers over 200 artists from around the nation and beyond to exhibit at this highly respected juried show.
