Vero Beach Art Club brings the 71st Annual Under The Oaks Fine Arts & Crafts Show, March 11, 9 – 5 pm, March 12, 9 – 5 pm & March 13, 10 – 4 pm to 3280 Riverside Park Drive, Vero Beach. This show gathers over 200 artists from around the nation and beyond to exhibit at this highly respected juried show. Voted in the Top 200 Art Shows in the Nation by Art Fair Source Book and in the Top 200 Art Shows in Florida by Sunshine Artist. Over 50,000 visitors attend this popular crowd favorite in shady Riverside Park.
Indian River STEAM Fest returning to Vero Beach on March 12, 10 am – 4 pm
This one-of-a-kind family festival will bring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math into the hands of K-12 students in Indian River County and beyond. STEAM Fest’s mission is to provide the opportunity for children to experience STEAM firsthand with the hope that it will translate into a future career.

Pelican Island NWR Celebration on March 12 & 13
The Pelican Island Conservation Society invites you to join us March 12-13 for the 119th birthday of Pelican Island. President Teddy Roosevelt will join us to bring history to life and regale us with stories of how he established Pelican Island as the first federal bird reserve. John Korczynski is a classically trained pianist and accompanist, currently serving as Music Director at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian, FL. He is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, a private music conservatory in New Your City. He is also an educator currently based the Treasure Coast of Florida. Internationally-renowned Duo Beaux Arts will present a concert March 13, 4:00 pm Part of the 2022 Chamber Music Concert Series. Duo Beaux Arts presents a concert featuring some of the most famous and beloved masterworks for piano duet and piano solo. They present 100 concerts domestically and internationally each year. The performing duo was formed in 2008 by husband-and-wife concert pianists Catherine Lan and Tao Lin. They have performed in France, Switzerland, Spain, Estonia, Finland, the Netherlands, China, and the US to both critical and audience acclaim. They are also the founders of Beaux Arts Chamber Music Series in Naples, Florida, which invites pre-eminent chamber groups in the world to perform in a wonderfully intimate setting. Performance highlights include appearances as concerto soloists with South Florida Symphony performing Mozart’s Concerto for Two Pianos, recitals at prestigious Cosmos Club in Washington D.C., and debuts in Hungary and Canada. First Presbyterian Church the concert will take place in the sanctuary at 520 Royal Palm Boulevard in Vero Beach .

Janet Kipp Tribus Shows New Work at The Center for Spiritual Care
The joy-filled paintings of Janet Kipp Tribus will be on view through March 28 at the Center for Spiritual Care in Vero Beach. Her exhibition, entitled “Black, White and Red All Over,” will be open by appointment daily between 10 and 4.

5th Anniversary Art Show The Galleries at First Pres
On view through March 31. The show will feature the works of local artists Cy Rochon, Pat Traver & Anne Whitney. The galleries are located throughout the campus of First Presbyterian Church at 520 Royal Palm Boulevard in Vero Beach.
Artists Guild Gallery is a fine-art gallery featuring original art by local artist-owners. Diverse styles and mediums are represented, and the art is changed, and rotated on a monthly basis. McKee Botanical Garden presents Dinosaurs Around the World: The Great Outdoors, through May 1. In this specially constructed outdoor version of the popular Dinosaurs Around the World exhibition, visitors will be whisked back in time on a dinosaur adventure and a tour of an Earth that’s very different from the one we inhabit today. Travel back to the time before the continents as we know them existed, when arid deserts covered Brazil and polar darkness was the norm in Australia! With advanced animatronics, a multi-layered narrative, cutting-edge research, in an outdoor environment surrounded by nature, you’ll experience the Age of Reptiles brought back to life! Open daily to the public Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday, 12 pm – 5 pm. The last admission ticket is sold at 4 pm and the Children’s Garden closes at 4:30 pm. Vero Beach Museum of Art presents Vero Collects: Hidden Treasures Revealed
The Museum’s third curated collection exhibition, representing more than 50 local collectors and over 100 artworks. On view through May 15. The exhibition is filled with treasures from local collections that are enjoyed in private residences, and now revealed in the public setting of an art museum. The show offers a rare glimpse into artworks seen for the first time at the VBMA, where we can discover major artworks collected in Vero Beach homes. It is a public view into the private world of collecting. A catalogue accompanies the exhibition and is available for purchase in the Museum Store.
A Peek Ahead: Loudon Wainwright III Brings his Humor and Songwriting Talents to LIVE! From Vero Beach March 17, The Emerson Center, Vero Beach @7 pm
An American songwriter, folk singer, humorist and actor, Wainwright III has been charming audiences since the early 70s with his honest, anecdotal songs that are instilled with his signature wit and cheeky humor, that have made him a cult figure. To date, Wainwright has released 24 studio albums, 4 live albums and 6 compilations, as well as appearing in at least 18 television programs and feature films. He was recognized as a 2010 GRAMMY Winner (Best Traditional Folk Album) for “High Wide & Handsome: The Charlie Poole Project”; received two previous GRAMMY nominations: “I’m Alright,” 1985 and “More Love Songs,” 1986. His most recent album is “I’d Rather Lead a Band.” His songs have been covered by Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, Earl Scruggs, Mose Allison, Big Star, Freakwater, Norma Waterson, Kate & Anna McGarrigle, as well as his son Rufus Wainwright. This is a fantastic show. Audiences will find it unexpectedly beautiful, moving and funny.
McKee Botanical Garden is hosting its 3rd Annual Garden & Antique Show and Sale on March 18 – March 20. This event will feature a wide array of exceptional and distinct antique furniture, paintings, outdoor garden benches and fountains, garden accessories, statuary, oriental rugs, estate jewelry, and more.
The show hours are Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19, from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, March 20, from 11 am to 4 pm. Last admission ticket is sold one hour before closing. Enjoy two exhibitions for the price of one. The Garden & Antique Show and Sale is being held in conjunction with McKee’s Dinosaurs Around the World Exhibition which features 10 animatronic dinosaurs.
Space Coast Symphony Rocks! March 19, The Emerson Center, Vero Beach @ 7 pm
The Space Coast Symphony’s Jazz Orchestra and Live! From Vero Beach are collaborating to present a unique musical event of special Classic Rock arrangements along with two specialty singers and a grouping of saxophones, trombones, trumpets, strings and a rhythm section.
Hear some of rock and roll’s greatest hits, songs that became well-known because of the brass, woodwind, strings and rhythm orchestrations that surrounded the classic rock, R&B, and Motown sounds and lyrics we know so well…. and will include handpicked songs from favorite bands that range from ELO to The Moody Blues…from Chicago to Abba…Linda Ronstadt to Van Morrison and many others! This is a natural collaboration, a sensational hybrid between Frank Wosar’s Jazz Orchestra, Aaron Collins’ Symphony Orchestra and LIVE! From Vero’s Beach’s signature classic folk and rock repertoire. Audiences will enjoy some of the most seasoned and talented working musicians and vocalists around who have performed all over the world with Grammy award-winning bands. This original presentation is one that both symphony and rock audiences will not want to miss!
