Vero resident inducted into Hall of Fame for Achievement in Show Production

Vero Beach native, Justin Rathburn, will be inducted into Full Sail University’s Hall of Fame. Starting out as an audio technician for Norwegian Cruise Lines, Rathburn has climb the ranks of the industry to earn a nomination for a 2021 Primetime Emmy for outstanding sound mixing for a series or special for his work as Production Sound Engineer on the acclaimed musical, Hamilton.

For over 40 years, Full Sail University has produced top production talent that have gone on to shape the American entertainment industry and pop culture. Six new graduates are chosen annually for the University’s storied Hall of Fame. The award recognizes each individual’s creativity, technical brilliance, and determination in their respective industries.

Full Sail will host a week-long celebration on its Winter Park, Florida campus featuring panels presented by industry leaders, alumni and faculty from March 6-11th. Artifacts and memorabilia from the careers of select alumni are also presented, culminating in an induction ceremony for Rathburn and the five other inductees at the end of the week. This year’s event will be in person for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic and an opportunity to celebrate Rathburn’s accomplishments and contributions to the live theater industry.
