The Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation announces the departure of Executive Director, Louise Kennedy, to pursue a Ph.D. at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. Her focus will be the writer, Laura (Riding) Jackson. Ms. Kennedy’s professional leadership took the Foundation through the difficulties of the covid pandemic allowing it to continue its work. In addition, the Foundation was able to provide innovative new programs as well as establish “The Seizen Press Vero.”

The Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation is dedicated to preserving the author’s home and nurturing local writers through a series of literary offerings including writers groups, summer camps, workshops and poetry festivals for all ages. The Foundation’s activities will continue as the LRJF Board conducts a search for an Executive Director.
