Members of the orchestra have played with dozens of luminaries from Boots Randolph to Beyoncé. Professional dancers, Joanne Collins, Lindsay Milam and Ivan Ilin will perform alongside the Space Coast Symphony JAZZ Orchestra on multiple numbers, emphasizing the style variations within the jazz genre and enhancing the audience experience. The dancers are past Dancesport champions in the American smooth and rhythm divisions. Musical selections that span the decades include “In the Mood,” “Caravan,” “Jeep’s Blues,” “Night and Day,” “The Lady is a Tramp,” “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “Can’t Buy me Love,” “Hey Jude,” “Yesterday,” “Respect,” “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay” and more.

The trombone professor is a four-time Down Beat Award winner for outstanding jazz solo.

“Fans of the orchestra have submitted their favorites and we have a concert of music and dance you won’t see anywhere else,” said Wosar. “If you want to experience performances by some of the best jazz musicians around, get a ticket. It’s the best way to greet the New Year!”
