Environmental Learning Center offers Guided Kayak Excursions on Nov. 15 and 22 at 9:00 a.m. Join our trained nature guide and paddle the serene waters of the Indian River Lagoon exploring this unique ecosystem with abundant wildlife and hidden mangrove tunnels! We provide all the gear you need.

Environmental Learning Center offers Little Wonders on Nov. 15 at 10:00 a.m. A nature enrichment and early literacy program for children 18 months to 4 years old accompanied by a caregiver.

Riverside Theatre offers Playtime in the Park on Nov. 15, 11:00 a.m. A FREE program for the community’s youngest audience members, it includes dance and theatre offerings from our education programs on the Theatre’s Loop Stage. Ideal for kids 2-5, entertaining for parents and the whole family, too!

American Association of University Women (AAUW) Vero Beach offers Changing Seasons, Changing Spaces Nov.15 at 11:30 a.m. They will discuss the right time to consider a move, as well as different types of retirement communities and care facilities. Held at the Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Ballet Vero Beach presents “Reflections” dance performance at the Vero Beach Museum of Art Nov. 15 at 12 p.m. & 3 p.m. in the Leonhardt Auditorium. Featuring original choreography inspired by themes of identity and expression found in the Museum’s fall exhibition Double Portraits. 

Artists Guild Gallery offers a Presentation on Ocean Surf Photography techniques by Guest Artist Peter Jordan, Nov. 15 at 2:00 p.m. He will present how he captures incredible wave action with a variety of photography techniques, and his experiences on Vero’s beaches. Reservations recommended.

Vero Beach Art Club presents its 90th Anniversary Kickoff Party “THRU THE AGES” Nov. 16, 5 p.m. at the Heritage Center.  Sponsor a table, bring your dinner and drink, enjoy a night of fun thru the ages starting in the 30’s thru the 2020’s. Pick your decade and dress to impress, decorate your table to match. There will be music and lots of fun.

The Vero Beach Art Club presents a Historical Mural Unveiling Nov 17 at 5:00 p.m. on the second floor of Administration Building A. An evening of unveiling and meet the artists in a new home for the Historical Mural of Indian River County and ORCA’s collection of environmental paintings by the same artists.

Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation offers Historic House Tours Tuesday 1-5 p.m. Nov. 18 (Each Tues. to the end of April, 2026).  See how the noted poet and author lived in her “cracker” architecture-styled house during a docent led tour at the Indian River State College Mueller Campus in Vero Beach.

Gifford Youth Orchestra offers its Annual Concert at the Emerson Center Nov 18 at 6:00 p.m. Come join the GYO students as they present their musical flair for your enjoyment.

The Heritage Center offers a Walking Tour of historic downtown Vero Nov. 19 at 10 a.m.  Meet at Heritage Center at 10 to begin exploring the genesis of Vero Beach, from the pre-Columbian Indians to the present. Tour lasts about 90 minutes. Donation required.

Vero Beach Museum of Art education staff and docents offers an Art Talk “Connections, Captured” on Nov. 19  at 12:00 p.m.  An in-depth focus on select artworks from special exhibitions and the permanent collection. Registration required.

The Heritage Center offers Heritage Blue Grass music concert, 6:30 p.m. Nov 19, and every third Wednesday from November to May. Free and open to the community.

Environmental Learning Center offers Wild Wednesdays on Nov. 19 at 3:00 p.m. Join at the F.U.N. Zone Nature Playscape (Families Unplugged in Nature). Designed with homeschool families in mind, this is a chance for kids and parents to unplug, connect with others, and enjoy all the outdoor spaces the ELC has to offer.

Environmental Learning Center offers a Beginners’ Bird Walk around the Environmental Learning Center on Nov. 20 (and each third Thursday of the month) from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., registration required.

Center for Spiritual Care is celebrating its 25^th Anniversary Nov. 20, 5-7 p.m. (corrected time) at the Heritage Center with its Gathering the Light event. Enjoy bluegrass with a local band, BBQ, and community spirit as they celebrate 25 years and Gather the Light for 25 more.   Tickets required.

Riverside Theatre presents Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR. at 7 p.m. Nov. 20, 21, and 22 at 7:00 p.m. and on Nov 22 also at 2:00 p.m. When young Alice finds herself in a strange world where everything seems upside down, she must find her way home…and find herself along the way.

Center for Spiritual Care presents Vive FOCA Art Exhibition Nov. 22-Dec. 24. This is an art exhibition of many local FOCA artists. FOCA is Friends of Contemporary Art. An Opening Reception will be held Nov. 21 at 5:00 p.m.

Sebastian River Art Club offers its Art by the River Nov. 22 at 10 a.m.  Meet local artists and crafters working in oils, watercolors, acrylics, mixed media, photography, sculpture, crafts, and more during this free show in scenic Riverview Park (weather permitting). Come and be inspired!

Gallery14 presents Spiritual Explorations: Paintings by Jane Johnson, the work of popular, award winning, contemporary painter Jane Johnson.  The exhibit will run through Nov. 28.

Artists Guild Gallery presents ‘Vero Ocean Views’ by photographer Peter Jordan. His stunning photographs are on exhibit, and for sale during the month of Nov.

Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County in conjunction with Mandy and Ray Hooker invite you to a viewing at Indian River Distillery. Cultural Council’s Member Exhibit at Vero Beach Museum Of Art “Progressive Perspectives” is on view in the Patten Community Gallery through November 30.

Environmental Learning Center presents A Cuban Season through Dec. 31.  A gallery exhibition featuring six Cuban artists working across painting, engraving, drawing, printmaking, and more. Each piece tells its own story of home, memory, and identity, highlighting the rich diversity of Cuban art.

Vero Beach Museum of Art offers Double Portraits, an exhibition on view through January 11, 2026.  Featuring 47 photographs by 34 artists, each capturing the rich and ever-evolving American South through the concept of a “double portrait.” 

Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County on exhibit Indian River County Administration Buildings A and B. “Reaping The Benefits” is the theme. Featured Artists include Judy Burgarella, Tony Caruso, Mary Carter, John McAleer and Sheila McAvoy. On view until January 15, 2026.

Art in Public Places Program sponsored by the Cultural Council of Indian River County is on exhibit at Indian River County Intergenerational Recreation Center, 1590 9^th Street SW through Jan. 28, 2026. Energized is the theme. Featured Artists include Tony Caruso, Eileen Lovre, Joan Mercer, and Mark Wygonik.
